Hints and tips

This post will probably need moving if anything comes of it but I thought I'd start a hints and tips thread. Some people will know them, some won't.

Here is my first.

If you hunt in EV regularly visit the female dwarf in the WH before you begin and take her quest. You still kill mobs as before but you will see a regular message that you have picked up the item she has asked you to collect. Give them to her at anytime (the quest is repeatable) for cash and lots of it. In one exping session (arounf 3 hours) I collected about 250 of the items and received over 200k adeana. Well worth the effort if you are there a lot.

if someone coming towards you is red and a much higher level, run if you don't want to get owned.

This applies to a lot of different hunting spots. Talk to the guard at the north gate of Giran before hunting medusas, dire wyrms, and harpies. Talk to the guy at the front of VoS and in the pit there before you do any serious hunting in VoS. Talk to the necromancer and Mina in the cursed village before you start in FoTD. (The vampire heart thing is pretty worthless, but the mats you get from the unlimited quest items are worth the time to go and see her.)

I do it, 100%. If I need to do or find a quest, Stratics 100% has the best and most informative quest guides. Not all of them are entirely accurate, some have information from C1 or C2 that are no longer accurate.

But it is BY FAR the best option.

If you hunt at FG get the quest in Aden with the DE magister. Quest is repeatable and gives maj and phoenix recs. Got a bunch for my clan with this quest and of course the xp was good too.

Get friends; get a clan.
This game can really sux if you dont have anyone to talk to while you grind. And you can need help when you ever fell like you are being run over by the big allys on the servers.
