For example you are using Curse: Poison on target. If you have BoMT with this SA then there is a chance that the effect of Poison will become 8 instead of what you have.
I honestly doubt that - it sounds more like the chance to add an extra "power 8" nuke ... since there is no "effect level 8" for the vast majority of status effects.
a normaal nuke dont have power ability's like curse's or debuff spells
but a spell like Surrender to wind or posion,Curse weakness,wind shackle,seal of chaos,slow
all that sort of spells witch dont pass +3 go pass 3 then even buff's like Bless body and mind will have effect 8 then
still it sounds to good to be true
Over to the side, you'll find "The Library" section.
Click on Items & Equipment, Weapons, then find the BoTM. The SA's are clearly listed.
If you then look under Enhancements (it's 2 down from Items and Equipment) and you can find what each SA does. It's near the bottom.
As for what is a fixed percentage? It depends on the weapon, i believe.
(Now, in the above sentence, I'm stating an opinion. You wouldn't believe me if I found out anyway, so why should I go thru all the work when you can do it yourself?)

at 74 a like Hydro Blast level 27 have a power of 107 with BOMT it becomes=139 power or same as have a Hydro blast level 58 witch most likely be not only do MORE damage but also less resist against it am i right????????
No, the SA gives you a 30% chance to add 8 units of power (watts? :p ) to your attack.
So.... lvl27 Hydro blast = 107. Theres a 30% chance it will become 115 for no extra mp cost. Thats a ~7% increase in damage 30% of the time. Thats why people go Accumen... for damage over time (ignoring mp), its a steady 15% increase in damage against a target.
When using bad magic against a target, bestows power 8 with a 30% chance of success. Enhances damage to target during PvP.
