What is the best c grade set for Destroyer?

My wife will be hititng c garde soon, and I am wondering what would be the best c grade armor set for her to get.

If you have a buffer/healer, Plated Leather + 2 handed sword.

If you don't, it's rather difficult to stay alive with the -con from the PL set, and you should probably go FP.

Unless, you play A LOT... in which case, I'd even consider Comp if its cheap enough. cause some people zip through C grade in a month or less. also, don't bother with jewerly, unless it drops or is super super cheap. Black Ore is pletiful, and most people wear that for a long long time.

If you are a stable member of a good clan, someone might have something you can borrow for a little while.

In c grade I wore comp at first then switched to fullplate on my destroyer. You want heavy armor mastery. I think the blunt is a better way to go for destroyer for c grade. I used flamberge and silver axe (crappy blunt.....get yaska if you can). The stun is nice to have. HOWEVER when your wife gets to a grade two handed sword or the new two handed blunt is the only way to go. Anything else is a waste of time for destroyer at higher levels.

So back to your question get the Full plate set if you can. For B grade I used Doom but I know a lot of destroyers who used Bluewolf.

No Offence to you or your wife, but my personal take on this is: Any destroyer that runs around with a Blunt weapon instead of a 2handed sword should reroll into a Dwarf.

Well....he wouldn't need to "Switch" to blunt to use the blunt skills(Go Go Hammer Crush, Wait, Your WS has that skill, you like it? :p), however a Sword Crit rates are far superior to any blunt anyday.

Now this is something I have never tested on my WS/Destroyer, and I'm 99.9% sure it won't work, but will skills like Whirlwind work with a 2-handed Blunt, cause after all, it's still a Blunt and not a Polearm. ?

On the other hand, buying an NG grade Blunt from Noobstown for 800adena and switching to it for Stuns works just as well. Plus it'll save ya on a bunch of adena.

you know very well what i think of hammer crush and if i had an option to use a 2 handed sword instead of a 2 handed blunt i wouldnt think twice

haha, that's an excellent way of phrasing that. in that light, a 2-h blunt is ok =)

well considering we mostly just duo, the extra stun skills help a LOT

so there is somewhat of a reason...
