I often see OE Emi bows with SA at a good price. I want to buy one, remove the SA, and then exchange it at BS of Mammon for something else (Orcish Pole or Berserker Blade).

No, you don't. However, you have to pay to remove the SA and you don't get anything back.

Any idea how much it costs to remove an SA from a top C weapon? Do you pay in AA or adena?

It's done at the town mammon NPC but I don't know the cost. I believe it's in AA. If I was at home, I could check for you but I'm not.

I think you only need him for A and S weapons.

to remove SA on C items is not realy costy B hurt a lot more

this is what confuses me. i always thought that SA and enchantments is the same thing? in the OP's case, what enchantments are already on his dark screamer if he wants to get Focus as well?

enchentment level got nothing to do with Special ability of a weapon expect duels
you can enchent a weapon to a sertain level if you like then put a SA on the weapon or remove it or trade it expect upgradeing ;(
same thing go with armor if you enchent armor B or A to a sertain level you can just seal it and unseal it expect B is free A cost a LOT more and you dont need to unseal armor to enchenting it
