Can someone give me some ideas on what is the best tats for a gladtiator just tell me the tats and what the pros and cons are and who Its best to kill and what not.. Thank you ;)
Ive gone back and forth, and it depends alot on your armor bonus. I like to be more balanced, so I dont do anything crazy. Im currenlty using a +2 str -2 con but was thinking of going +2 dex -2 str and +3 dex -3 con. I know that some glads (with alot more experience than me) are using lots of str and -dex but I dont really agree with -5 dex. Diego is one that does that, and hes a glad fanatic, so you may want to see if he sees this thread and replies. i see his argument about how glads cant outrun anything anyways, so no need for dex, but im not sold on that. I figure we need all the speed we can get.
It very much depends on your setup, dual SA and armor etc.
My friend is in A grade. The best A grade Setup you can have for PvE is Dual Keshes (at least +4 for the SA) and Tallum Heavy. With tatts +4STR -4CON +4DEX -4CON. As you can see, not much CON for pvp, but this is the fastest lvling set you can have.
DEX isn't for run speed (well it is, but not the reason why you should be boosting it) it is for attack speed, where the gladi is concerned. DEX is also really important for charging your skills faster. The faster your attack speed, the faster you can focus. Hit hard and fast, with VR on top of that and you are good to go!
If you want PVP setup (with same gear for simpleness) I would go +3 STR -3 CON and +2DEX -2CON. Gladi's are DDs. Speed and strength are both importaint. I also know gladi's that go health setup with -3STR +3CON, -2DEX +2CON plus Night Mare Heavy armor for PvP setup. I don't think they are very good tbh, they just take longer to kill...but then again...sometimes it depends on how u decide to play ur gladi in pvp.
Now a rare, but imo a very good setup for both PvP and PvE, but a bit more fragile.
Getting Light armor lets say NM armor for A grade and dual keshes.
+2STR -2CON
+4DEX -4CON
+1DEX -2CON
This setup you hope to evade more. This is the fastest you can go, of course you can go faster if you go with something like DC light, but I am just using a tatt example. Here you are setup to evade more. In PvP you will do best against Daggers and Archers! Tanks will most likely kill you, and of course nukers will kill you. There are rare exceptions of course, again depending how you play and how your group is setup.
My best bet though, assuming that you are lower level and you want to level is to go +4STR +4DEX. If B grade go BW heavy with Dual SLS. A grade go Tallum Heavy with Kesh*Kesh! You will eventually find your pvp style and then try to fit that. I wouldn't really recommend -10 CON tho for PvP, but I have seen my friend win many a fight, usually ambushing the enemy though...lol. :p
