I know, I know- the Search button is my friend, but it's been holding out on me. It seems every other post made in these forums falls under a search for "trade." >.<
Anyway . . . The Library lists the skill Trade, but it is not available to my dwarfette who just hit 15 a few minutes ago. Is Trade available at a later level, and if so, is it worth it?
didnt realize the library listed "trade" as a skill
i think it was an old prelude skill dont think any dwarfs actually got to use it
it doesnt exist anymore
What I also find funny is that Dwarven Fighter (the pre-20 class) is listed as having skills all the way up to 70 (it's listed as having all the item creations).
So does that mean if I level a dwarf to 70 without class changing it, I can then do scavenger and BH class changes and have a BH with Craft 9? ;)
Trade was listed in old guides and skill lists. But i thought it was a 40+ skill that allowed to buy in NPC shops with some discount. (I play since C1. That skill has never existed in game since I play.)
BTW. maybe an expansion 6 skill, that slipped through. :)
It's proboly the passive skill that makes you able to put more items in a private store then the other races.

Dwarves always have the extra slots, even at level 1, and I have not noticed a 5% difference between what my dwarfette pays at NPC stores and what my knight pays- I do not think the Trade skill refers to a race skill. The Library lists the skill as costing 6,700 SP to purchase.
Oh well- they might catch it the next time they update the list. An inherent 5% discount would have been sweet though, especially before the castles are captured and taxes put into effect.
I have some blurry memories that I saw that skill or description in OB, and it was related to more sell and buy slots, but it just might be my misinterpretation.
I had dwarven fighter in OB, that just got somewhat to my mind.
Yes, that skill was present in old guides. Was supposed to be an ability for a dwarf with the skill to purchase items from npc stores with a discount applied. Would have been very useful especially with castles being able to raise the prices in npc stores.
