Okay, here is my idea, ban me from life if its totally idiotic.
Everyone who has ever done a aoe knows how intense and rewarding the experience can be. We also know how fast things can go wrong, and end in total disaster too. Just one person messing up in an aoe can ruin everything; puller pulls too much, healer goes afk, sws/bd dances/sings too early/late, nukers nuke too early, lag, dc's, stuns, para(omg), etc. And all that can happen in one pull..
So here is the plan. For all you hardcore aoe'ers out there, lets see what ya got. Post your screenies/fraps/l2replays(not preferred by me, i have no l2). Be sure to also post your Server/ Ally and Clan(if available). Lets see who does the most intense Aoe's, and the biggest disasters. Good luck!
Biggest disaster (was not intended to be Aoe...) in Toi 5 on a regular hunt:
Tank hates 5 mobs too many in a group of 5 with two lower levels then us (we were 60 at that time and lowby was 49 almost 50). Party went well up to there...Instead of killing the mob the main tank just BSoe'd....The healer got Para and basically leaving me (nuker lvl 60) and lowby Glad to handle the 6 aggroes....
All went ok till I got OOM LOL the glad ended up dead on the floor last JUST when the Healer deparalised ROFL!!!!
Sorry no picture of those, I was tooo busy keeping mobs on me and not the lowby and basically taking down the mobs with Aoe. We managed to get 4 out of 6 down before my OOm appeared LOL. Great fun though and a HUGE story for Wolveneye on the Sieghardt server which still does the round :)

This is a Devastated Castle Aoe, C4. Im lvl 70 Bh, in duo with a 64 EE (im red btw...) Out of pt, we have a lvl 60 Prophet, and a lvl 59 SE for buffs. Holy weap/vr3/resist shock ftw. Still C4 so no greater might/sheild.
You can see on the map where we are, there is a pocket on the rocks, perfect for pulling the north east area, and just downhill from there.
Im wearing Maj Heavy, tallum glave no Sa +0. Had -11 con with the maj, but as a BH it wasnt too bad for stun. Biggest pull was 3 spiteful groups, and I think 8 Doom knights. Hard to appreciate till you see it.
I had to use a strider to pull (211~) run speed, had a macro to jump off and equip my weap, then i tore it up. I was able to tank here at lvl 68 pretty well, all the way up to 72, then xp sucked, A warlord might have better luck, but you need a strider to get the record breaking numbers. Respawn was awesome, drops were great, and so was adena, we also did this area during the pollen quest, so we really made some cash.
I tried here with NM heavy, it sucked....lower str so VR sucks, no stun resist....gogog Maj.
I was doing just yesterday 2 rooms sometimes 3 in pilgrams..I'm wearing full ++ clan light set, and VR 4. +10 glave.(in case any one is wandering...I made the glave to +10 my self, got a mithril dagger from a clanie then ++ it my self.)
I was 33-37 there. at first I was soloing then after I pked a group of bots that tried to take one of my rooms, a arti and a shaman showed up.
so we partied, and I buffed up my VR4, and he buffed us with PP buffs.
So I pulled with my SE, 1 large room, 1 small and a few argo...I started the tanking with my SE, but then I took over...but the arti took mad argo from me. The shaman used blaze quake (which was very sweet on them mobs).
made 3.5k+ karma disapere in about 1 hour.(had made 7 pks total, and over 4.4k total karma) was fun!

Thats how i level all the time, after ive trained the bots to get 2 rooms empty that is.......that reminds me, Tarun, im wondering if your server has the bot guards like Kain does, i suspect most do, on Kain if you train high lvl bot areas they bring down lvl 70's to deal with you, most over 75 and stuff, if you kill them they bring more and more until they finally beat you, its pretty funny.
Large trains were cool back in the day, but now with the max amount of mobs you can hit only being like 16 or 18 or what ever it is, its not really worth pulling 5 or 6 rooms at once.
Yeah most definately. What's annoying is that they flag on me while I'm doing aoe and walk into my damage cone. This is bad for two reasons; It makes me flag and I'm unable to defend myself because I need to kill the 16 mobs beating on me. I even tried bsoe'ing when I had 1.5k hp left once and I still died when I spawned in town.
They go away if I bring my pvp-capable-class friends down, but I'd hardly call it "problem solved" when I need people to babysit me to xp.
What's funny is that people from major alliances comes down and pk's me because "I trained their friends" (named fffddasg and llllllll) and "they don't bot, they just don't know how to type"
Edit: And yes, it's extremely rare that I have all those room to myself. So rare that I had to record it when I did.

this is a triple strider pull at AB. three warlords would mount up. SwS would Song of Wind. 3 separate directions to collect 6-9 leader mobs each. meet in the middle and land simultaneously at the big tree. dismount, equip, Thrill Fight, War Cry, Accuracy Toggles, WW or TS to grab aggro, and then the SwS sings Earth and Hunter. 5 mobs per group X 18-25 groups = 90-125 mobs per pull. thank the WC for pictures, as i was too busy focusing on staying alive =p

Aoe's don't hit teammates or allymates regardless if they're purple, red, or on the siege field. But if I'm hitting a mob and someone not in my ally nor party walks into my cone, I will hit him. It was considered an exploit when you didn't flag and you could kill people with it. I had a chat with a GM once when I tried killing someone who was purple by having my golem follow him and poling my golem (Get your mind out of the gutter already), and he reported me for it.
