Now I've been checking out the server’s personalities but I'm still having a hard time figuring out witch server to chose. So in your guy’s opinion, what server do you think I can get into some RPing and be able to join a good guild and really get to go thru the story of the game?
oh and Eastcoast would be nice but isnt needed ;)
LoL. Welcome to the game. I don't think we have much RP on Hindemith, but we definately have one of the most helpful player bases.
Seriously, though....there isn't really any storyline for you to follow in this game. There is some lore behind it, but it doesn't really tie into the game at all. It's more of a.....Grind-Your-Brains-Out-Until-you-can't-see-straight-then-come-back-tomorrow-and-pick-up-where-you-left-off-type game. :D

To emphasize: The story comes from us. The world keeps turning and it moves a certain way. But we are the crowd who goes on living. Bickering, struggling for advancement, making alliances and backstabbing them. That is the true story of Li2.

As most everyone has mentioned, Lionna is the unofficial RP server. You're going to have the best odds of finding a good RP clan (or evil (http://www.rimwall.com/echoes), if that's your thing) there, and finding people who actually give a rat's *** about the backstory provided for us.
L2 has a great story, actually a lot of great stories and back grounds. Of course, the player has to READ the quests to get it.
I never understood why 'some' players seem to think that they should get the backstory without having to read it, that it should be somehow beamed into their memories. Kinda like people who don't bother to read newspapers but think that they understand what is going on in the world.
