I been playing for a few days and am enjoying it quite a bit. Thanks to some really nice players here I am close to being D-Grade weapon and armor now. Just need to save some money now. I havn't seen many around Gludin, or Gludio so is everyone in the higher places?

L2 is a great game, by far the best MMO I have ever played, but it is tougher than other ones.
If you like a lot of conflict, Erica will have it for you. If you like adventure and role playing, you will find both if you look. If you like good versus evil, choose your side!

Thanks for replying everyone. The only thing that is anouying right now is that it seems to be kinda laggy for me. I gonna test one of the other servers quick and see if that is better for me. Else i gonna stay right here. As i just got me 2 DE SO's to 21. At 25 I would get skills to replenish mana and critical chance increase. 2 of the best looking skills I want. I let you know if I could use a bit of advice
Just wanted to say it all works out here. I gonna stay with erica now, so Erica is my home. So I gonna go level my chars and hope that I can afford to upgrade to DG soon.
Also What is happening with castle sieges. I didn't seem to see any messages on the weekend. Is that cause I was still in DF village? I live in Australia incase any of u are too.
I've been playing for two years now, and I must say that I like this MMO the best, and belive me, I'VE TRIED. There's plenty of stupid people, of course, but that's something you'll find in any of the servers, so be patient and enjoy hunting with the nice people around.
If I recall correctly, last week was event period for seven signs, so the castle sieges should be this weekend. I'm in Europe (GTM +1), and the siege time here is midnight - 1:00 a.m, more or less.

Probably better off finding a clan that will help equip you. Manor system is the quickest way to make adena though regardless of level. Find a good seed and make the buyback on time then sell the mats in an afk shop. You should be able to get 500k pretty quick with the right seed.
As for money, try the manor system and try to get the mats that sell for the highest price. I sold crafted leather and made a pretty "penny" (adena).
I practically equiped my self in D grade (best from shop) armors and jewelery. However I have Lord0fDarkness to thank for my D grade maingauche (that i switched for a bow for now).
Getting free help from certain players can get you to move a long faster but don't get used to it, you have to fight for every adena you need.
Also joining a clan is a must but perhaps only if you play a bit, as beeing offline most of the time leaves you too far behind compared to the clan... There are various clans out there, check them out, and have fun, don't get upset over the various pkers... level up and get even when you can >:).
P.S. As a side note I have stopped playing for a while now since I lag like hell at times and it is quite frustrating... I haven't cancelled my account thou, I'm here to stay :).

If I may offer a word....don't take the easy paths if they are offered to you. Do not break the EULA because doing so will degrade your game enjoyment. Yeah, ppl who cheat think they are making their lives better, but they really make the game much LESS fun for themselves. Why?
One of the best things about the game is the sense of accomplishment that comes from an honestly achieved goal. Perhaps your clan saves up for a clan hall, or you save up for a new weapon or armor, or you level your character to B grade. All of these will make you feel really good, and if you did it honestly that feeling will be so much better than the watered down happiness that a cheater feels.
Also, those who play honestly tend to stick with the game. What they earned really means something to them. Those who don't (with some exceptions) tend to leave the game after a few months because their accomplishments mean a lot less to them since they came easily.

Well everyone thanks for the help and advise. I have been doing the Manor System and it has helped. I also found some people who have givn me some money. I now have Top DG armor and bow. But I really need the Manticore Boots ton make the set complete. Then I need to upgrade my bow.
If anyone knows the price of the boots let me know so I can save.
Also got me brother playing with me so we need to get him the best dg 2-handed sword.
