Costume Contest?

Apparently the people over at CoH are having a Halloween Costume Contest (http://www.cityofheroes.com/community/contest_11.html) where you dress up like a CoH character.

I wonder if that would ever work with the L2 community. And more to the point, I challenge "Sir" Elrohir to break out his bevy of Light Elf Costumes if they ever did have that here.

There was an L2 to dress up as a character if I remember correctly. It was quite a while ago, and I can't seem to find it in the event archives. So it's possible I'm imagining things.

i think it was instead to copy then paste your char in a real life place

Yah...but city of heroes is alot more diverse when it comes to the look of a charecter.
I think people would like to have the cance to dress up like the charecters they play.

mmmm maybe not - I most definately don't have the physique my Orc has and I'm not sure people would appreciate seeing me in skimpy BW heavy

There was once an official costume contest (http://www.lineage2.com/news/event_13.html), but I don't know how many people were actually interested enough to participate. I would love to see some Lineage II costumes, so if I see a lot of demand (specifically people saying they will dress up!), I might think about it. :)

Ahh there it is, is there a link to it anyone on the site? The Event list page ends at the First Year Anniversary Event for me, so I can't look at previous ones. Doesn't seem to be a second page, but maybe I overlooked something.

The same person who won the first contest later made an Avadon Set (http://www.acparadise.com/cosplayers/19548/19548-7164-2.jpg). I believe her name was glarawen.

The older events eventually fall off the Events page. It took me some time to find it, too!
