Why Valhalla?

Why are prices on Valhalla recipe still so high now that we have a better sword?

Wizard's tear is stronger than valhalla, looks cooler and recipes are MUCH easier to get.

Just lack of info. on players parts or what?

Wizards Tear got also Acumen SA. Its also a B grade 1H Sword and it got higher Matk then Valhalla.

Must be cause there are not much Wizard Tears around on the market and C5 is still kind of new. If I would sell a Valhalla I would also try to get the most out of it since maybe not all ppl know about the new Sword or dont know how to get one.

I think the valhalla looks much better, personally. Are the blades that hard to get on the wizard tear? I haven't seen anyone with one yet.

Valhala looks better. they both suck though. no pvp damage.

My prophet slave has one that I crafted for her. Went conversion SA since we already have a +10 [censored] w/acumen for my wife's SpS.

My wife farmed the recipes with her 61 BH and I bought the blades from farmers for 200k each in about a week.

They both look miles better than both homus and SoMs at any rate.

How hard was getting the recipes?

60% recipe spoils off of Frost Golems. Pretty decent spoil rate.

elemental sword is ******ed lookin though.

I got one blade in FG. have been grinding there maybe 20-30h, maybe even more, got one blade. Blades on Bartz go for 500k-1,5m each :/

btw srew som, wiz and sov! geta flaming dragon skull staff!!! :) the recipe drops in FG as well. :)

recipe for FDS is easier to get through coin quest :p Heads for that go for 1.5 to 2 mil each on Devianne though

I think the two best one handed looking swords in game are the DLE and the SoM. :( Nothing can beat the dragon slayer tho! :D

Yea IMO the SoV is definately cooler looking. I mean I like the blade of the tear, but indeed I feel the SoV is better overall.

No pvp dmg? I'm pretty sure if I nuke you with it, you'll take damage.

I didn't think homu looked bad back when, but now I'm just sick of seeing them :P

I think the SoM looks awsome. But I am stuck with my elemental for the time being T.T not ugly, just plain and boring.

Well a +3 arcana is still half a billion or so, most of us don't ever have to worry about it. (except my clannie with a +7 arcana)

I think the SoM is pretty sweet looking as well.

There is only one way someone would pay 2 billion adena for a weapon, also there is probally only one way someone would pay half a billion for a weapon and i think we all know what that is......

Actually, you don't need unmentionable sources to make that much money. It does usually take a combination of excessive play time and luck if you operate within the rules, but I'm just pointing out that you can accumulate hundreds of millions in gear and/or adena through legitimate questing, crafting, and working of the market.

I would gladly trade my Som from Lionna to my character on Franz.

Som is, and forever will be my dream weapon.

I *think* a lvl 52-60 would still do better with a SoV :o

because you're so useful in pvp at 52.

That really depends on who you're fighting. Lowbies pvp too. Maybe you don't care about "non-factor pvp", but it exists.

I think most people agree that SoM looks very nice and quite unique.

Subclass pvp!! Don't forget you don't sub right back at 75 ;D I've killed several enemy clan, sub to sub before.

SOM is the UGLYEST mage weapon in EXISTENCE i personaly find and dont even come with the unique look i can buy 100 SOM they are just lowbie weapon compare to a element sword
the sell rate of element sword is so LOW it's almost a colector's item
yeah it dont have acu why do i care i need magic enpower when i PVE not acu
with a hearth beat i trade my duels +8 for a Element sword +8

dunno from what mob the tear blades dropped, there is only 3 diff mobs in FG so cant be that hard :)

It's the super ugly mob that drops them, falabati or something.

I got 2 blades from mobs in the VOS.. Drop rate is pretty low though..
