I'll put this carefully because I don't want the post locked or deleted as it's just something that cheered me up as it was unexpected. Please do not turn it into an automated friends bashing session.
On my Dwarf yesterday, went over to what was Partisans looking for a new area to level in. I attacked a yellow mob which although it was slightly too hard for me was worth a go. After a couple of hits it did a runner as the Ol Mahums do to fetch some friends along. Consequently I did a runner too. Ran for a while being followed by about 5 mobs, some yellow, some red. Stopped, they were still coming so I jumped off the side of cliff bit and carried on. At this point they seemed to have given up so I continued leveling.
Later that day .........
I had been back to Dion and ported to Partisans again and decided to have a look around. At one point I came across several of our automated friends all dead. Puzzled I had a look up and around the hill - guess which group of five were standing there?
I am happy for your results. However, I thought Dwarfs were not the type to try suicide in the face of danger. Lucky for you the cliff must not have been too high :p
Well it wasn't quite a cliff and not quite a hill and I just jumped off the side. I did think "I hope they don't follow" as all I could see was 'you received 983 damage from taking a high fall' which would leave me with about 100ish left

The dwarf that went up a hill, but came down a mountain
hugh grant is clearly an elf
you can tell this by his obviously limp wrist
That was a "tactical charge in a different direction" not an attempt to commit suicide. Dwarves do not flee. They just move on to better strategically suited territory.
