Hello all. Finally hit B grade two days ago, was wondering to get a +4wit -4int tat for her. Is this true, I'd have to have 10 of those 'Greater Dyes'? I ask this because the price of just one of these dyes is around 600K, thats around 6m just for one tatoo!?!
more than you ever wanted to know (http://l2vault.ign.com/View.php?view=Guides.Detail&id=61)
edit: there is a typo in the "tyrant" section. 30% should read 60%. i dont care enough to have it fixed.
PS: and thanks to all the bots that found this info usefull. i hope you burn in h*ll.
hmm you dont realy need to use +4 dyes first try with +2 they are still payable also not unbalance your toon to much
+4 dyes are cool but they realy pull your toon out of balance for sertain things
i mos def agree with Abisha and Crawlerin. i was doing research on the different setups for an SK and came across the +wit -int part. but in all honesty, i think the SKs default stats are probably the most balanced out of all classes. since i'm thinking of going doom heavy, i'm pretty sure i'm making the right choices, considering that my toon is mainly a Tank first and then the rest (hybrid, dd, etc.). thx again for the advice.
Someone wrote an awesome guide on the three diffrent SK archetypes.
From what I remember, it went over "Paladin" types ( ++ def and hp ), "Mage" type ( Som Acumen, Int/ Wit dyes... dyes being dependant on what you are trying to accomplish ), and "Fighter" types ( dunno ).
I recommend you to buy dyes at magic shop if your budget is limited. At Giran(Kain) Wit+4 Int-5 is sold at 36000a each at public Magic shop whereas +4/-4 is sold 450000a each at private shop. The cost difference for 10 dyes is 4140000!!!
You lose 1-int more. But this disadvantage is not significant compared to 4millions extra adena.
I made a tatoo Int+4 Men-5 on my Necro this week. Then Men-1 reduces 20 mp and m.def a little. Just a marginal disadvantage.
I use +4 WIT on my SK and it's been working fine. I lost about 30 matk and gained about 70 casting speed - which seems like a nice tradeoff to me. I dont have a 100% landrate on hex but it lands. But alot of people think that one shouldn't touch your magic stats, but I dont regret my dye tho.
