...for an AW?
Drake Leather seems to have slightly more P Def than Theca, but theca makes up with a set bonus for P Def.
So would it be a case of Theca better if fighting mobs who p atk, and Drake better against mobs with m atk.

Or is Theca always better?

Personally I dont believe in light armour having P Def. Not even when it is called Majestic with light armour mastery 30+

Drake or Plated Leather imo. M Def is always good, and Plated Leather adds P Attk.

Plated Leather is always good until 80.

Plated Leather is pretty much the only C grade light armor with a decent set bonus. You don't get enough Pdef out of any of the others. You don't get enough Pdef from plated leather but the added damage sure makes up for it.

That goes certainly up for a ranged archer, but is that the same for a dagger user?

orvieta why do a dagger user wanna have more P.atk their greatest power is their critical rate i sertain they have more use to a theca set then plated but plated is again more usefull for a melee class like glad becose they bepand on P.atk more then critical

why not BD dont have a lot heavy skills ether pass 35
it just become unwise to have skills for sertain armor and not use it at high end levels dont means you cant use a sertain armor type

Because P Attk still determines how hard your crit hits...believe it or not, I tested it, and the higher P Attk, the better the crits damage.

Actually =

you are rich = PL
you are saving up for higher grades = Drake/Theca

Exactly.
Plus raw damage given in PVP is higher. As Cgrade has no set for manipulating DEX, you have to live with what is offered.

Before a person can answer what type of armour is best, we need to know, not only that you are an AW, but how you usually play (PVP/PVE, buffed/self buffed, Solo/Party) it all makes a huge difference.

in PvE = more str = Higher P.attack = vr gives more hp back + mobb dies faster.

I just love those people that will say omg NOOB!
go for doom light in Bgrade and +5dex+4con-9str......for PvE
aya, go kill mobs with 400 p.attack at lvl60 :S
I have killed at least 5 mobs in the time you kill one.
