Sweet we can start farming antharas again soon woot!!
Great changes, except the gatekeeper reduction, its a way too short timeframe and will cause further gravitation of players towards wanting to force people to play at certain times. :(
Holy crap... lots of excitement abounds!!!
tripled the duration of summons for true summoner classes. well, that is certainly a step in the right direction.

3 hot bars are nice, certainly, i have always needed more space than what I had.

more herbs dropping, but changed where they drop, hrm, okay doesn't really effect me, but okay.

changed drop penalties. well, it is nice that I can't drop gear unless I die, but I am curious how severe the combat penalties are. makes killing bots more useful, but adds a certain problem with deleveling. eh, we'll see. doesn't effect me as much as others, unless the combat penalty nerfs my casting speed severely, as my cat won't be effected, I'm sure.

I do like that freight can be picked up anywhere now. kind of abusable, lord knows I'll be abusing it. be nice having my dwarf able to make shots in giran and ship them to me in Schuttgart or wherever lost lonely corner of the world I happen to be in atm.

can't wait for it to hit live.
All freight can be picked up through any Warehouse Freightman in the area.
woot I can finally find that ss from my toons

nope

So we can expect this on live servers on the tuestday,or the next one, right?

This patch is quite a bit larger than usual, so I want to see it on PTS a bit longer.

We should have more information next week.

Finnally some good news...
glad doom knights just turned light blue on me because I sure wont be leveling soul cry's again no profit margin.
hmm I wonder if this will back fire and instead of decreasing the price of the SAs it will increase the price of B & A crystals.

Have you tested the life elixir to see how much it regenerated?

Nobody will use it this way, it will only put a gentle cap on the SA crystals: If you assume a (cheap) 10k for B Crystals and 3k for C Crystals, you come out with 950k for a level 10. Level 10s are around 1 mil on the open market last I checked, and will probably drop in price a bit since levelling them manually got a bit easier (I'd honestly be more worried about this than anything else) - which puts them en par.

If you have the crystals, it would be wiser simply to craft shots (CBSpS/BSS) with them and then buy the SA Crystal with the money. oO
Warlock/Gatekeeper Class WTS entrance into Monastary 250k
Demon Horns, Mask of Spirits! nice :)

Warlock/Gatekeeper Class WTS entrance into Monastary 250k

you kidding me...it don't even cost 1/6 of that. to port there from godad.

I think if I remember right it's 10k to port to MoS.
Actually its way cheaper to make the crystals yourself, with them no longer breaking its a breeze to make crystals.
Just to add, I deleveled a whole level (mid 22 to mid 21) on the PTS on the guards and recieved no death penalty.
Count your blessing then, the guards were actually more effective than the mobs in giving me the debuf. :p
So what is the debuff then?

That's absurd, obviously everyone charging 1 M for stage 10 crystals was overpricing everything like all of L2 economy. It's totally out of contorl, nobody can afford anything and this isn't what developers intended. All our gear from 1 to 80 should drop during one round of hunting. I want a Ferrari and should therefore have one. Real world economics are unfair too!
to bad... guards should give the debuff too..

... they do...

Eynel
any max debuff u can get? or u can get like 50? ^^

lol Would be funny if there wasn't a max level, see some dorf with 1 attack speed and 2 accuracy trying to hit a guard.

Eynel ^^

yup
I think the no-drop change is only going to help farmers. Now they don't have to worry about dropping gear from mobs and it is very cheap to remove the death penalty. They will now be able to hunt entirely unfettered. I, on the other hand, very rarely die and when I do I almost never drop anything so that particular game feature has not been much of a hinderance to me. Though maybe this move wasn't made with farmers in mind. It just seems like a bad idea when farmers are such a large problem, primarily because training farmers/bots up till now has been the only way I know of to put a dent in their efforts. Of a much lesser concern is that it makes the game a little less 'hard-core'.
Actually it will help with the afk ones.

Try and imagine a group of afk bots, you get a few of them killed, their healers ress them, you get them killed, their healer ress them. Eventually they will start getting death penalties, fight worse and worse, eventually it will be easier and easier to kill them, and in the end they'll die just from the mobs, expending tons of ressources and dying over and over and over again.

Very effective.

Yeah, but you can't "not" (yeah, double negative) include gameplay elements to just "screw" the farmers. You can fiddle with the client or do things like add game guard (which is just oh so divine) but you can't say "hey... let's add X", what? Oh yeah... the farmers will benefit from it.". Because then you are allowing them not only to dictate the prices (or at least affect them) but you are allowing them to tacitly dictate gameplay.

I think they added the no drop rule because as players start getting higher and higher in lvls AND as equipment gets higher and higher, Korean players were complaining about the dropping.

Quite frankly, I never liked the dropping feature. The idea is to penalize your character upon death, not incapacitate for months.

I've dropped before and I have to say I would have been out of game for quite some time had I not retreived my gear. Of course it was B grade but at the time that stuff was very expensive. :o
What i want to know is about the hotbars....

Before a person could use their F keys, but with up to three bars now. How does a person set all three bars to there hotbars?
Not terribly funny for players that needs to delevel though.
splatter, the notes said somewhere that the first hotbar will be the only hotbar that you can use the keyboard on, the other two will be "mouse only".

Even more effective if it costs more the higher your penalty to get back to normal state. This could end up being one of the best changes made to the game yet.

We'll have to see how it ends up playing out.
So far i've died to mobs and even the town guards, but i haven't been slapped with a death penalty yet
Keep trying, I know you can do it, you stubborn green rock. :p

It took me only about 8 deaths to achieve penalty level 2, but then again we all know how the "random" generator "works" in this game. ;)
I still haven't been able to get slapped with a death penalty yet, but i found something interesting when i tryed to delevel on the guards
*pokes splatter* well, what did you find already, sheesh?

*pokes splatter* well, what did you find already, sheesh?

Yeah.. I was waiting for the same thing.

Yeah.. I was waiting for the same thing.

Sorry, i was having supper.

Before if you wanted to, you could delevel on the guards from lvl 75 all the way down to level 1 if you wanted too.

Now......

I was at 13% of level 10 and after killing myself on the guards i dropped down to level 9, but it wouldn't let me go any lower then 95% of level 9....I could kill myself 100's of times but it stops at 95%

Well, that IS interesting. So are we saying that it is no longer possible to lose more than 5% below one's lvl? hmmmmm? (you can use the "church lady" voice there.".
No, it's because the skill Lucky prevents XP loss below level 10 (used to be below level 5). You will lose the XP on the death that delevels you below 10, but from there you won't lose again.

You could never delevel lower than 4 before, unless you were red (in the early game you could not delevel lower than 4 even if you were red).
When did that change? It was level 4....
our hopes up for nothing :O

When did that change? It was level 4....

Yes, it's 9 now.

When did that change? It was level 4....

it's also part of this patch :D
