Im closing in to the lvl where I can get a sub, and i have been thinking a lot about what class to pick :/
I know of 3 classes I would like to play, or at least try. Im just not sure what would make a good sub..

and yea, BH is my nr1 choice atm...Im I crazy? I just love the look of a human BH :) and I did love to be an spoiler and make some $$$ :) I have plenty, but more = better :)
I say spend your sub on another class, not that BH sucks but subclass is what I wuld want to play fast up to 75 to become a nobless, BH is far from a fast lv class.

well, I guess making a BH alt would be better, I admit that, but... Im playing TH and making a warlock sub would be lame :( well, ill think about it. maybe I could start a BH on franz like everyone else :P
Well, BH can make a lot of money, esp. if you're in a very small group of friends. When the medals stopped dropping (Oct 3) PleChan and I spent every last adena to buy medals. Currently we have 130 mil in cash, and 300 mil more of A grade recipes left to sell. It works well for us because we duo a lot and we have always shared all our stuff with each other. Though even if we'd split the money two ways, > 200 mil in 10 days wouldn't be bad for one person.
BH isn't a fast leveling subclass, though, and it's really not until you can spoil A grade recipes and key items (high 6x/low 7x) that you can really earn lots of cash. B grade recipes sell well but obviously they're cheaper, and the drop rates aren't that much different.
yea, I have been duoing a bit lately with a 76 BH (dont know that they are called at 76 >.<) and yea the money is good :)
ill prolly make a BH on the side of my main, and just lvl for fun.

When I played my BH, I had virtually 0 fun in all of it's short 50 levels. Then again, when I was playing my BH, I wasn't drunk as often as I am these days when I log in to L2.
imo your subclass should be the fastest lvling class that you can play without going insane so you can get to end game fast
just lucky for me that class was also the one i wanted - necro
if you have a SE or know a SE friend who wants to pole alot BH can lvl fast but as this is not usually the case and you cannot consider yourself as a DD while LFG cos you just get shot down
I have SE and PP buffs all time :) so I think I could lvl almost any class "fast"
but for me the goal is not to get 2 classes 75+ the fastest way, for me the goal is to have fun.... Im not sure if I ever can get 2 classes to 75+ anyway, I just dont have the time for it (I think)
well poling is a fun way but also very risky if things go just slightly wrong, lol. And with a pole you could lvl a BH moderately fast aswell as have fun. You're lucky noone can sub a WS lol or you'd get shot down even harder when asking for parties than a BH lol
Well, if you're not in it for being a noblesse ASAP - and heaven forbid you have fun, that is simply NOT ALLOWED around these parts - go for what you like best, and then BH might not be such a bad choice.
Really big spoils may not be every other mob, but so far, she has no trouble splurging when she wants to, and is teaching me the ways of the high level dwarf. :D
Id sub a BH. Id hate to lvl a class 1-40 that doesnt make good $ till B grade spoils when you can just sub them. As far as lvling speed goes they arent really bad considering they can pole which is best exp. since C5 raids almost always require to 2 groups = lame exp. If you need the $ no class makes more, you just need the high lvl spoils.
However, what you sub on your main is also a $ issue. If you sub a BH on a TH you would need a set of S grade heavy armor and light armor at end game. When you hit 2 birds with 1 stone thats alot of $ you wont need to raise. As such, Id also consider subbing a bow class or Tyrant
But would you really want to tank a train in light armor? If you arent the tank then i guess it works out with the more offensive set bonus of light armor, but would definatley want a heavy set if I had to tank.
well i have no lack of $$ (adena >.<) so I wont have problem equiping him, well, dont know about Sgrade but thats faar in the future..but Agrade is not a problem.
I wouldent sub an archer tho...maybe it would have been the easies choice, and fastest, and cheapest (I could use same EQ) but no thanx.. I have a bow on my TH already and Im doing darn good with it..I see no point to get an archer-class.
I have had thougths on tyrant tho..but well..its a **** hard decision to chose a sub :(
If you have plenty of adena then I wouldnt sub a BH. Making adena is all they are good for imo. WS get some nifty summons and are always helpful when there is a shortage on shots but you cant sub them.
Warlord is a good way to sub if you like pole, or mass pvp (aka siege). THey lvel qicked fast, especialy with your buffbots, and in sieges, you can really have some fun. Although they arent exactly 1v1 powerhouses. Im still considering adding a BH as a sub myself when I hit noblesse ;)
They seem like a really fun class. and with kia and your PP you can lvl fast.
kia takes 10% XP, so that makes him your lvlig one...while when you hit 58 and you get queen if you can get some serious parties all the time she'd be better for you takes 5% XP.
My CL is a subed WK and they are a awesome class when pared with archers or daggers.(helps increase crt rate)
I wouldn't go warlock if your planing to lvl fast cause they aren't a fast lvler.
neather is BH. spoil is ok at higher lvls get a dagger and go at it.
well I have money to equip a BH if I do one, but it doesent mean I dont want more money :)
I wont care about pvp with my sub, I have a TH, and that will have to do.

i have been thinking of warlord as well, but...what makes WL > BH? Bh gets spoil, and thats what makes the class fun me thinks. i did love to be high lvl and spoil..like opening christmas presents every day!! ;)
I agree, the thought of having something to look forward to when you spoil is exciting and keeps you driven; esp. since the rarity of hard spoils is nothing like the rarity of hard drops.
WL stun is nice but the thing that makes them essential is the AoE aggro skill. With enough nukers in your train party they should be a key class. Consider the mobs you dont hit with polearm then they get Aoe nuked = dead nuker or in the least a waste of healers mp to keep them up.
Personally, I made a Tyrant and regret not making him a Destroyer once i finally grouped with 1. Frenzy is just too awesome even if it only lasts 2 min. with 10 min. reuse. Dont quote me on those skill time figures though, all i know is its something like that. All in all, Destroyer has most raw HP and P. Atk of all classes, and can pole or use 2 hander. And thier active stat skills are simply put " a jumbo sized can of whoop ***" Example: Destroyer I grouped with 2 shot a 4x hp mob same lvl with a Berserker Blade not OE, almost 1 shot it actaully.

Nah, tallum heavy is all you need. If he's got a 76+ TH, he isn't gonna be running around PvPing on his BH. Tallum is probably the all-around best PvE armor (and maybe best PvP armor) for a bounty hunter too.
dont think I ever saw a BH in tallum :) but yea its prolly the best PvE DD armor. even tho i would prolly get NM, cuz NM looks so nice on dorf chicks ;)

Majestic seems a very odd choice. It boosts damage, but not nearly as much as tallum. It gives accuracy but adding more accuracy to a blunt user is like adding a glass of water to an ocean -- you're not really gonna see a change. Stun resist is nice though, but it wouldn't be enough for me to put it on a dwarf.
Nightmare reduces your run and attack speeds (-DEX) for a boost in CON, which isn't really something I'd want on a class as slow as a dwarf. I'm not sure it boosts your damage at all because the 4% patk will be mostly lost to your slower attack speed.
Tallum is the best DD armor setup, and if you want to level your BH, especially solo, you really want to max your damage. The HP loss from the -CON isn't really important if you don't PvP; in fact for PvE you want to do - CON + STR anyhow. The 8% attack speed boost and the +STR both combine to give some really nice damage. Pair that with a weapon like a Doom Crusher and you'll be at pretty decent damage.
