I would like to know if there are any nice places to grind and do some quests for money at the same time?
I have been in FG for some lvls now, doing that snake scale quest (108 scales gives Agrade jewelry/shield rec) and leveling soul crystals at the same time. Was pretty nice, gave me ~6% XP / hour, and 1-3m adena /hour depending on luck with recipe/crytal. (100% profit)
now the mobs are blue, and i refuse to grind on blue mobs. so where should I go?
Hmm, if you want money quests and grinding, you could try the deepest part of Valley of Saints... there are 2 repeatable money quests there, though it's not gonna be extreme cash. The XP is good at that level, though it will be challenging sometimes. You need a minimum of a full black ore set, full majestic would be even better. The nukers can really hurt.
You could also try the early areas of Forest of the Dead as your prophet will have Holy Weapon/Resist Unholy and those are very nice buffs there. There are two repeatable money quests there too (one in cursed village from Mina, one from the necromancer NPC at the port-in point).
yea I have checked out FoTD. hard sometimes if I get to many adds, but I guess if you are carefull it will be nice xp/money.
VoS was..ermm..hard..I have maj jewelry+4, and still they nuke me for a lot..played there for like 15m and almost died so I dident get back there.
Beast farm I have heard is nice, never been there but ill check it out. only down-side I se is you have to feed the mobs? that takes time? = less xp. and you gotta run a lot between mobs or are they close?? I guess ill have to travel around to those places and check it out.
Once your too high to do the FG quest, there isnt really anything worthwhile to do. Unless you are an archer or a nuker.
VoS has quests where you gather 300 quest drops, and get some exp, sp and 100k. Which isnt "bad" but if you are a melee it will take you forever to get the items, mainly do to the fact that if you dont 2 shot the mobs, they will hurt you. They're nukes are strong. Their DoTs are insane (the fire dot is uncurable and it eats you alive) they duplicate, teleport, tranform. They stun, they cancel, just plain pwn you.
FotD is okay. Some of the mobs deeper in are just as bad as the VoS mobs. But there are plenty that are pretty tolerable. The problem is some of the quest items you need to get off deeper mobs. And they have painful nukes, DoTs you cant cure with potions or bandages, lots of annoying group mobs. It can be nasty if you arent cautious. And the rewards are just mats, and exp/sp or adena. And again it is just not easy for a melee.

the snake scale quest:
name: Illegitimate Child of Goddess
starts: DE guild in Aden
Hunt Trives and Falibatis to get the scales. takes me about 1 hour.
reward: random A-grade Jewelry or Shield Recipe, on bartz those sell for 150k --> 1,5m depending on what rec you get, and how fast you wanna sell it :)
do this quest at the same time as you level soul crystals on the Domm knights in the same area, and you get a very very nice profit.
Wall of argos has some quests that I always run. One of them is killing teh angels, probably not the easiest thing in the world solo. However, theres another one, Shadow of Light or something, that when you complete it gives adena, exp, sp, and S Jewelry parts. I do that 1 repeatdly at 75. I dont remembe rhwich level you can get it at, but you can kill buffalo slaves for 100 eyes, although Ive moved on to the grendels. WoA has been my favorite leveling spot since 64 ^^. Its pretty much where I have gotten ALL my levels since.
i was at WoA with some clannies the other day.
well, in a duo I can belive there are worse places, but for solo? mobs have high hp, no weakneses, at least not for daggers, and xp/hp is bad.. at least its not on my list of good xp places :)
He has PP and SE buffs, shouldnt be a problem. It also depends where in wall you hunt. The Bandersnatches were literally 10 levels of hunting, and making tons of fruits of seeding for me as well
