A quick question.
Ive been away from the game some time, but recently came back, and wanted to do my second class change on my artisan, but im having huge trouble finding a particular mob.
I need to find the silenos that drops Braided Yarn. Different guides say that the mob can be found around giran ( just north ) and left of the racetrack... Couldnt find them there... Another guide said in tanor canyon, where I indeed do find a mob called tanor silenos. Solo I didnt stand a chance against them, and even with a high level buffer I had great trouble killing them... When I finally got to killing some of them, I didnt get any quest item drops, so now im kind of lost. What mob do I have to kill, and where is it ? :p
It was in c3 that i did my change but i ran down to the monster derby track and there was a good bunch of silenos down there that dropped the yarn for me, just search in the closer perimiter of the track, most likely on the same side as the GK outside of the track stands
LOL---first time i did quest, rather than look it up I shouted in dion and ask for help.
Someone said, "Silenos? they are in Tanor Canyon".
The Silenos groups in TC were red to me--I died twice in a row.
Was commiserating to a friend saying things like, "why in hell would a quest require you to kill red mobs?"
Friend said, "um, the silenos you want are by MDT......[censored]".
those quest silenos are on the hill above and behind the track .. (for a more specific location for those that do not want to wander too much) take the beehive tp from dion then walk along road to the other side of the triangle (look at the map) and up the hill. ...

The Beehive TP is the *long* way to get there. (Too many mobs to run around.) Use the "Plains of Dion" TP location instead. You'll come out just west of the racetrack about midway between it and "Preacher Sla" who is at the bottom of the slope that defines the edge near the wasteland.
The Dire wolves and Monster Eye Destroyers are the only aggro between you and the racetrack from here, and those are spread out enough you barely have to dodge/kill them.
