hi, i have just found out my current class doesn't fit me. i have SwS (actually 31lvl EK), and in our clan there already is SwS and also plenty of tanks, so elven tank is no solution.
i would love to switch to completely different class (nuker), but i dont want to start another character.
so i ask : is it possible to change race/class and keep some lvls?
2nd question : what is "reroll" and how does it work?
A reroll is a new character that you makle and usually ( if you plan on playing that char as your main ) twink it out with all your current stuff on your lvl 31 character.
Re-rolls will be alot easier after this new patch comes into play where all characters under 25 get the newbie benefits, not jsut the first one to lvl 6.
It means you sell all your stuff on your current char... and give all the adena to the character you create new so he can lvl faster with the Best gear and spamming SS.
Loved this question as i remember myself shouting in Gludin back in the days asking how i reroll a knight to a warrior, and what NPC i should talk to.
sws are fun, fastest CONSTANT run speed if i remember right, over 200, can train your way out of almost any sticky situation. i once tried training out of pytan room in DVC, needed more pots :O
you will most likely reroll some day, a lot of times! I have 3 active toons atm, and another 2 higher-lvls im not using, and Im about to get me a new alt. you know, you dont have to quit your SwS, just make a new char and play them both. for me, playing one char for too long, it gets booring

ROFL!! Clan I'm in atm has 5 SE's right around my level. Guess how many of those 5 are online when I play...........0, maybe 1, at the very best and even then, it's not available to me.
Still play the SwS if thats what you want. Never reroll because 'The clan needs something else' or 'You want to be special'.
Our clan recruited a Mid-40's EE to group with our other lower 40 characters, but she didnt like the Idea that I was a Lv 70 EE already in the clan, she wanted to be the only one, so we kicked her. I had to deal with that when I was lower, having higher EE's then me, so what?
And if your planning SwS, theres a ton of pick-up groups (Not grouping with clannies, just ppl shouting 'GLF SwS') that will want you.
What they said...play what you like, even if it means rerolling.
A lot can happen while you play, your clan might disband, your twin might quit playing, etc.
Personally, I picked a race + looks + name I liked the most, then figured out a class from there. Also, you can always subclass later to something else. I like the idea of a DE destroyer or gladiator, so my main is currently a SH (I read they level fast) but I plan to play my subclass a lot more.
