Skills modifiers?

Got some questions on how some stats can modify some skills:

1. What stat effects hate skills? Considering the hate skills knights get are not spells which require spellbooks and cant use spiritshots, and the skills have a power #. Im guessing str and maybe raw P. Atk would make it stronger. Can anyone confirm?

2.What stat helps skills like a monk's Cripple land? It is also a physical skill, but seems more like a Curse which needs int and raw M. atk to increase success of landing. Any guess on what really helps it land would be a shot in the dark from me. Does anyone know which category this type of skill falls under for stats?

3.Does wit also effect the % on the spell Restore Life? There is a sticky about wit being a modifier for % on ressurection spells; maybe its the same for all % based spells? Anyone know?
1. prolly nothing just like stun
2. if it is physical id say nothing once again
3. wit increases your rez % to increase any healing spell you would need int (increases mattack)

Actually, STR seems to have an effect on stun land rates... but the arena data was inconclusive. However, 25 attempts to stun me with +STR from plated leather had a 66% success rate as opposed to a 55% rate on 25 tries without the +STR.

Although it can be streaky so god only knows. We'll need to do hundreds to get real numbers, and the MP regen is a real pain.
1. I don't know anything about this. I guess it's too hard to be calculated.
2. WIT, landing rates and levels seem to define the skill cripple (check also the sector enhancements in the Library section). Pm if you want more info.
3. I think it is INT as nameless1 says.

And Stun is resisted by CON for sure (although I don't know if STR has a role too)
I dont believe anything alters the bishop % healing skill. That includes Int, % to heal bonuses like DC heavy/boss jewellery, or reduction in healing like necro curse disease or palladins angelic icon. I have heard that Restore Life heals the % it says on a particular skill level, and thats it regardless of any buffs/debuffs/stats. Im not a bishop tho.. and personally havent tested it myself. Im just going by what I have heard from other bishops.

From what Ive heard about physical skills and their land rate.. the only stats that affect it are the targets level, the level you get the skill at, the base land rate, your targets MEN stat (depending on the debuff... I think bleed is CON), and any resistances (boss jewellery, buffs, set bonuses, passives, toggles etc) that the target has on. So only way to increase land rate is to level up your skill. On the other hand, I have also heard that stun lands better with higher STR... not sure how accurate that is though.

most of what you said is true.

I just spent like 2+ hours reading a site thats made to tally up L2's machanics and to apply them to math...very cool stuff lots of info....I can't post the site...but if you email me I'll send the link to you.

how ever... a healer will do more heal with higher INT. but it's been found that the higher M atk doesn't add soooo much that it's going to matter. when a healer hits 76 they o/e their skills for power, but adding more power isn't as much of a bonus as lowering the cost of MP to use the skill.

the restore life is supposed to give a full HP back, I'm not sure how it is per lvl vs target geting healed. but it seems to me it's a skill lvled effect. IE: lvl 10 would have greatter effect then lvl 1.

Stun shot is not effected by STR...but it is effected how ever by: con (race), race, lvl (player/npc), resistance buffs, skill lvl, and o/e'd or not for chance.

You'd have a harder chance to land a lvl 52(player lvl) stun on a lvl 66 player, but a lvl 62 (player lvl) vs a lvl 68 player would work fine vs the other target's type.

hate according to my clans high lvl DA says it's skill lvl based....I'm take his word on it. (I don't think str works in favor, but player lvl VS skill lvl effects it)

and as far as I can tell bow pulls don't count as a physical skill, it's not magic, so I think bow pulls fall under basic atk, and thous spirit of sagittarius doesn't effect your MP rate at all.
Theres only 4 lvls of Restore Life - 15%, 20%, 25% and 30% HP heals. Unlike normal heals.. which are affected by M attack and shots, restore life is not affected by M attack or shots. Its just a % heal. If you have 1000 max HP, then restore life will heal 300 HP regardless of the casters M attack, Int, Shot usage. Im almost certain it will heal 300 regardless of any buffs/debuffs/set bonuses as well... and from what I gather from others this is the case. But Ive never tested this one myself.
