I wonder how many accounts to you need to play this game for profit. One for main character. Other for AFK shop selling and a healer? Or go just for healer/afk shop and main character! Or do you play on multiple servers at the same time ,lol
I wont pay for more than one account. My wife has one also but I wouldnt pay for more to be better at the game. For some reason I enjoy the multi player aspect of the game. :confused:

I run a sell shop during the day when I'm at work. Only need one account for that. Sometimes I make shots and sell them but the money vs the time is not really worth it.
So, I buy desirable A grade weapons that are priced at least 2 million lower than average market and I sell for about 1 million higher than average market, especially if there are none for sale at the time.

some people find it hard to pick up a group.
It's nice when you can load up 2 or 3 accs and head out to lvl.
if you have the resorces, I say 3 acc's for lvling and a sceperate computer for 2 accs to keep loged in giran all the time.
then you can constently sell your items at all times, while your not worried about having to soe back to grain....this would be very nice when frieght can be picked up any where.
After the new patch you can leave a alt in giran frieght your items to him and sell there.
2 accounts. One with main and the other with my buffer. I play both accounts at the same time ( windowed mode ) and both windows fit on the same monitor. It's really easy as long as the hardware doesn't crap out and it freezes the game for 20-40 seconds. Stupid memory leak. This didn't happen pre C4.
lollercoaster - i bought 2 one today. Well i thougt first,why need more i can set up shop when i go to work and get some fun and xp after work,but then now i get more itmes as i am close to lvl35 ,i cant sell it with a good price(for me) but i needed to sell it fast so cheaper. But now as i have 2 accounts i can be calm and let he money come to my hands like it sohlud. tired of being the only one wih low D gear and no SSD :(
I have 2 accounts. It's the only way i can pvp. I log in my gimp BH then bring in my gimper WL. We start swinging our gimp poles for gimp damage until the healer runs out of mana and runs away.Sometimes they actually die.

I have 2, after I levelled my main SE I got somewhat tired of not being able to do anything myself. SO I got another account, mostly used for farming or selling.
My BF has 2 accounts too, so we sometimes mix them up.

But if you are just asking accounts. I have two. I keep a low lvl SO form WW and Emp 1.

That's pretty much what I did with my SH too. My first one anyways. All I needed for PVE is emp 1 to level passed 6x... which is when I first got the newest account. However... I am duoing with my new SH and SE on Franz... and I will stop once she gets emp 3. I know SHs don't need more than emp 1... but considering how much more I know about this game, I am leveling considerably faster than I used to... which resulted in less adena per level ><... so I may very well need emp 3 ( and possibly berserker's spirit ) just to level in the same areas.
I have three. I used to run just two (Elro + SE) then got a third. Originally, I would setup my third to sell stuff while I was out grinding (usually on my crappy work laptop). I almost always had at least one sell/buy shop running 24/7.
Then, I decided I wanted to play a BD for grins. I created her on my 3rd account and the academy got me to finally finish it. Recently, I've been experimenting with a friend, running all three at once and it's worked out well so far.

Awesome.... the guys must be rich both player and the company made this game. would be time to vancuish the AI players and get your boxes up with some EXTRA large monitor for fun play and profit.

I have had an overnight afk sell-shop selling "something or other" nearly every night since I started 10 months ago. I wake up and check how much I've earned, replenish sell itmes for the day if necessary, and go to work.
There is no "need" for a second account though it obviously has advantages. I've wished for one many times in the past weeks tbh.
One is enough. Lmao--I'm still struggling to figure out how to play the toons on the one account I have! Two would just be pathetic for me---in a hysterical way!

No worries you can get used to it pretty fast, either on 1 computer or 2. Unless you have so crappy computer it barely handles one account, switching windows in a hurry of heal could be painful then with all that swapping.
I personally would prefer only one. And quite frankly only had one until a few weeks ago.
But I like to solo and need the emp. Now, one can say "Sovrath, why don't you just get off your lazy butt and party a SE".

Because I have, in some ways "limited" play time. of course, that could mean I have slated 4 hours on a saturday but I want to be grinding for all of those 4 hours. Looking for a party takes much too long. At least for my liking.
As soon as I log in I want to go. This is not to say that I never party. I actually do enjoy it. But if I have to wait around while people "get their act together" (has this ever happened to you: you are waiting for someone who has agreed to join your party and 20 minutes later you find out that they got lost checking shops. Then comes the "just go on ahead and let me know when you get there. I'll be along". Then you get their and wait another 10 minutes for them to come.
i have 50 accounts and gee i sure had no troubles hitting lvl 75 within a day with one tank and 49 healers taking on stuff way way harder then my lvl :)
For "violation of the EULA" profit? Just go count all of the bots that you see the next time their train goes by. I'm sure we all know the popular spots for them.

I have my own party all the time. fortunately l2 does not need high end pc's to run so my healers on old pc's I put together out of parts. I think 7 is max i can handle but a warcryer would prob be very useful at buff time.

Stop lying you pos. I can hardly run L2 on a 1.8Ghz with 768mb ram. And it won't even load on my laptop.
BS i play healer on old compag with decent agp card and i play sword singer on old emachine with same card. both have 512 ram and 1.0 gig and 1.2 gig p4 processors. kiss my AAAAAAAA... and get a graphics card you bot. got 3 gateway fx2 64 pc's with no graphics other than the on board and 2gig ram and i can triple log with ease on all of them. your pc suxs cause you got too much **** on them.
Have three accounts, of which two are currently active. After playing a summoner, it's difficult getting used to the idea of controlling only one character. ;p
I don't mind so much for market purposes (I've not left two of them on overnight for a long time), but it's nice just for playing.
Heh, I have a 3 ghz with 2 gigs of ram, high end video card and I can run two clients, maybe three but that would be pretty dicey. If I have to run three I put another on my other computer.
Actually I can run Lineage 2 on my old 1 Ghz P3, 512 Mb RAM laptop.
As for multiple client, those who do claim they're running multiple clients often forget one thing (and why there's a limit to how many you can run), each client reserves a certain amount of your video memory as well, Once you've run out, additional clients won't run.
But since my machine is an evil [censored], it can easily handle multiple L2 Clients.

I don't have problems running 3 on mine. Haven't tried 4 (yet :p). I really can't tell the difference between 1, 2 or 3.
I had 4 clients running on one PC, 2 mine 2 boyfriend's. It was in C4 while my clannie powerlevelled little alts via her summon. My PC is nothing special - 3GHz A64, 2 GB memory, GeForce7600GT GFX with 256 MB VRAM. They were living, breathing, moving, just sometimes got stuck but that's nothing unusual when 2boxing on same PC.
But since C5 I can run 3 clients, when I try to start fourth it crits.
