Upon finding out just now that the PVP is open and alive on this Server I am beaming fire from me eyes!!! I chose the right game. :p
Not sure what sort of guide you are looking for, but you can find plenty of help on this site and on the forums (player guides, player questions, etc) there is Stratics with quests, walkthroughs, recipes, mob info etc, l2Guru (aka blah) if you are in for less civilized discussion, warcry with additional walkthroughs and game information. Even our website has walkthroughs completed by our members.
As for where we come from Sieghardt is a NA server (whereas Teon and Franz are Euro servers with regard to castle siege times etc.) but we have people from all over teh world on our server.
My friends at Wolveney are Euro-based but with non-European members. WoJ is US based with one current player from the UK. We know a few clans with leaders and members from the UK and other European locales.
Welcome to our server - if you ever need any help you can find me in game as Gracie or Conceptia. I never recieved much help when I returned after a good year or so, so I hope I can break the chain. I can't provide you with adena etc as I'm a very tight bar steward, but I'm more than happy to buff or guide you.

Hello Lateriss and as many before me have stated already Welcome to Lineage II, the server and the Community.
There are a bunch of very good and friendly players on this server (regardless of what some may say) who will be more then willing to guide you in game or answer your questions here on the boards.
The grind is indeed a major factor of the LII experience and doesn't slow down but only becomes more interesting towards end game.
I wish you the best of luck and fun with your orc figther :) They are a very nice race to play and upon reaching their race-class specific jobs they are quite te beating DD's and tanks (I just adore a Destroyer in the group ^^)
Should you ever be in need of help, feel free to contact me or Orvieta In Game (yep same Char names as here on the boards). We are indeed Euro based (Thx for the kind words Pam) and I'm sure if you don't mind the timezone factor that WoJ is also a clan I'd recommend. Very skilled and mature players there who know the game through and through like we do at Wolveneye (or in other words old gamers..Old as in from the start) ;)
Hmm well Dwarfs is not realy that good tho maby BH but WS only got the summon, yea its great does alot of dmg but eat up alot of the xp. Well maby in a AOE grp tho but i havent done those sens C3.
