take a piece of tape, and stick it on your control button.
otherwise, make a skillbar for just pvp using all macros: to do this open your macro window (alt+r) and make a new window for the skills you will use in pvp. let me make an example for you using one such sorceror skill:
Macroname: CTRLprominence
abbreviation:NUKE
line 01: /useskillforce Prominence
save it, and repeat for every skill youll use in pvp.
this is of course in youre too lazy to hold down control with a piece of tape.

go to best buy, pick up logitech gameing mouse. has a botton on the left side of the mouse. you can program this mouse to ctrl key.
so every time you push the botton it swiches the game to combat mode. (the sword, vs the arrow)
you can also change the mouse sincativity to and make the mouse move extreamly fast.
once you flag and your oponent flags you can let go of the botton, takes away the need for macros to allow you to flag. and makes swiching from combat mode to PvP mode alot faster!

no. you only need to hold control if they are white. if they are flagged you don't need to hold control. Anybody who tells you different is wrong.

i can attack a red player, i can attack a flagged player. but i CANNOT buff them without holding control.
