What has your clan found to be the most sucessful way to achive the desired 'reputation points' to level your clan?
It appears the quest to gain the points is redundant, as the requirements to fulfull it are not possible to achive based on the inability to kill the bosses within the time limit.
And the fact most established clans have surpassed the level to be able to fight them them anyhow .
The Quest was great in principal but near useless in implimentation, or is it?
The only way to achive the rep point requirement succesfully has been for players to level alts..
That for many has taken many hours and have often been for that sole purpose and may be deleted later.
Not so productive for the community's indivitual.
So in conclusion, other than leveling alts or a couple of points from festivals if your lucky.. what has your clan found to achieve this?
My clan had a lot of clannies with alts that were nearing 40 when C5 came out. Most of them joined the Academy and graduated, and a few of us have created new alts and are trying to power level up to 40. Once they graduate, they'll be deleted and we'll do it over and over again.
We have our first clan buff, and are just about to get our second. I can't imagine us getting to clan level 6 by doing nothing other than the Academy. My main is feeling neglected.
lol i hear ya there ^^ im on my 3rd alt to lvl to 40..i actualy spent all day to day prof changeing and grinding to get to 40 and get outa my own academ y>_<
so when and where do i get the clan buffs and all that i dont knwo much aout this new stuff yet
lol you need level 6 for clan skills. they cost A LOT, and you need items dropped from very high level raid bosses.
There are clan skills for clan level 5, too.

There are indeed clan skills as of lvl 5 clan. Granted under lvl 6 you get additional.
Questionon the raidbosses...Is there any other way to gain the needed life crystals except by killing the raid bosses (which seems near to impossible)?
Its' ain't even close to impossible.
But only available for really strong clans or some good ally.
Grow, unite and get your reward for it.
This system encourage creating of strong units and benefits only them. Well, If u don't want to do all job, u just can't simply stay as you were before c5, almost nothing has been changed )
The clan buffs for level 5 cost 1500 rep points each. Besides the rep points, you need items that drop from various raid bosses. These items sometimes come up for sale, and really aren't that expensive.
or you can get you clan and ally together and go hunt for them. just did that last night, actually. I didn't contribute much, RB being 70+ and I'm just 52, but it was fun nontheless, despite how hard it was to get 60+ people organized. got the stuff we needed too, so it wasn't too bad.
if u have 10 heros in ur clan === 10k points per month, if u xp an alt in academy since lv 1 u may get like 500 points after he complete his second class quest, kill many wartargets, highest score in festival darkness === 100 points per member, raid quest for clan leader === like 100 points per raid if ur clan do last hit, hold castle and hold clan hall give like 650 points per period.
the best way is have heros in clan, second way is make alts lv 40 in academy , its very fast
Our clan has focused primarily on academy toons to get rep. Wars really don't make a fig of difference in rep scores accept mass pvp like sieges. You may gain or lose a few, but usually both sides get kills so it's not too brutal either way.
I think the reputation system is designed to be a long-term goal for clans. Some clans (like Ebilsa*****han's clan on Gustin, Apocalyptic, which farms heroes by throwing fights to each other in the Olympiad...and this isn't hearsay - I've watched them do it) will get their lvl and skills quicker of course, but for most clans it will be months in the process. 10k for lvl 6, 5k for each guard unit...that's 35+ academy graduates before you can have more than 40 toons outside the academy in clan. That's no small piece of work.
But that's the beauty of L2 - large numbers of people working together to accomplish difficult goals.

its sad people tell all heros are bots , my clan have 77 ppls and u still saying 99% are bots, just to u know, if a group of friends xp together for few months having fun we must be amost all same lvs, think u guys from weeks alliances from gustin are sad because doesnt know get xp, and trash talk to much and the high lv people dont let u xp in piece, maybe it explain why u trash talk so much, u must be sad with ur char under lv 70

ignoreing the fact your buffers come straight out of a bot train and you guys own the raid boss farmers and you buy your accounts from hashlord i guess you are fairly legit too
back to the origonal point of this thread..i just lvl another toon though my academy..he started at lvl 20 and was sponsored..i got 360 points for him.

Just to confirm sponsoring does nothing for points,
thats the base 170 points +19 levels at 10 points per level = 360 points.
yeah, I got the same amount from 20-40 without it being sponsored. The only reason for a sponsor is just for the armor if the newbie doesnt have D grade gear.
