Cleric Armour

Heya.

I have a question related to clerics armour.

We are able to wear (Certified) Robe's and Light armour.
Light armour mastery: Increase P.def and Mana recharging
Robe mastery: Increase P.Def

Now to me that looks a bit odd.. Now Im thinking.. Well, robe's have mana boost on em, light armour doesnt. Maybe thats the catch.

So is it true that for a cleric, if you want a small manabar that recharges faster, use light armour... and that if you want to just have a huge mana bar that takes forever to recharge.. go robe?

Or is the text just bugged?
If its true I think Ill go get me some light armour :P

You'll see the passive benefits from wearing robe instead of light.
The recharge rate should be the same on both light and robe.

Recharge is similar in robes and light. Some tests in the past showed pretty similar numbers. May be robe will give +1 more mp per minute.
So in general - yes, you are right if you are only concerned about mana regeneration speed.
But, robes give more casting speed. Generally you have like 90% casting speed in light comparing to robes. Also, popular robe sets give more casting speed due to set bonuses (including +WIT bonus).
Most clerics prefer robes for group play, healing/buffing faster - it saves lives sometimes.
