Actually, if you follow the trail, before too long it will be the Russian Mafia and the Chineese Mafia offering protection rackets for our clan halls and castles...
Since I won't pay real cash for game money the IRS better have a tax collector to take my adena. Since adena is useless to the IRS they would have to liquidate it for cash. Maybe Ebay? Will NCSoft ban them since this is against the EULA? chuckle.
They had better give me a tax break for that Soul Seperator that didn't craft for me >.>
But anyway, this is about games like Second Life, where you can convert in-game cash to real-life cash.
Doesn't really effect the legit players of Lineage2

LOL
Well Franz got a clan named Russian Mafia. Goes what they are about.....
If you read it a closer it's going after games like "second life" were you can turn stuff you make in game (you can create anything in that game) and services into real life cash!
Games such as WoW and L2 would not be affected if you followed the EULA.
I would say it would hit more of the gold farmers who sell in game currancy for cash. Do remember there are people in the US that farm gold/adena for cash so its not exclusive to china. It also could affect people that buy it....... sales or use tax anyone???
For me less taxes the better, so I would not approve of this or any type of new tax.
The sites that sell adena don't have sales tax included. That is what would likely get taxed. It is a commodity, let's just say nobody in Florida is going to want to buy adena from Florida adena farmers.
LOL, you can just do what Catalyst did when we went on a Raid. Come with overwhelming odds including hero's, only kill five of us while we wipe you out, then say that you guys killed 50 of us when we only had 45, including non-alliance/clan members ;)
Just say you PK'd me. Doesn't really matter if you do or not, you'll still claim you did ;)
