At least according to the Gamestop customer service line. I ordered mine a few days ago and both the status of my order and the status in the game's info page state "Pre-Release Ships 10-19-2006". Today being the 20th plus the fact that I paid for overnight shipping, I expected the game to be in my hot little hands today. So I called the customer service number and they said that they have not received the product from the manufacturer (or how ever you spell it ... spelling has never been my strong suit) as of yet. Any info NC Soft on the delay and when we can expect it? No real hurry as I'm already in game, but it would be nice to know a release date. Thankies!

Ok, so the Lineage 2 Epic Collection is in Best Buy.
I went to the Best Buy in Cambridge MA (pretty much right next to Boston) and though I didn't find the game where ALL of the other online games were, I did find it where all the solo games were.
Here are some of the PR blurbs:
"DESTROY THE ENEMY: Brutal, Hardcore and Remorseless, Player vs Player is Defined by Lineage 2."
hmmm.. ok, that is subjective but I feel that that is pretty much on the nose with a caveat to the more hardcore pvp'ers out there.
"Unique Quest Items reward you with Powerful Weapons and Armor that mark you as a force to be reckoned with."
huh? I only know of one quest that comes close and that's Fate's Whisper! There is that one at Ivory tower where you have to mix the ingredients and the one in Aden that gives A grade Weapon parts.
But that might be a "bit" misleading.
Still, they did a very good job on the packaging. Showing a small picture of each Major Raid boss that was added with each chronicle was a nice touch. Much better packaging than the orginal box imo.
Did you give your bestbuy a ear full as to why they placed the game in the single player area?
I thought about it but I didn't want to be "that" guy. I then was going to move them but I decided I didn't want to be "that" guy either.
Though now that I think of it maybe I should have mentioned something.
I'll take care of it next time I'm there. NC Soft needs to put me on payroll somehow. I can go to stores and make sure that the game is exhibit in a way that is fitting.
Yes the EB I work at once a week (for discount lol) was supposed to have it, but none have so i cant get my discount on it :mad:. Best buy had it here in Maryland so ill have to get it there. Now I have a question. When I get it how do I get the in game item since I have an account already? Is it some type of code you type in to you account or something?
