Spellbook for Greater Empower

Whate hunting ground do I go to to get this? And which monster drops it?

You dont need a book for empower. Its an upgrade of an excisting skill you already have - i belive lvl 25.

you get SB empower from a starter town, I think the other towns sells them to.


there is no difference in empower and greatter empower.(I wish there was)

the skill is just a lvl 3 skill gets stronger at lvl 3 which you get at lvl 52.

there you have it... just a name change.

Bsides I thought they removed 'greatter' empower from the name to adviod this confustion.

Its a bit like Mental Shield goes to Mental Aegis.

It's gone back to mental shield again :p

I seem to remember patch notes somewhere reading that "greater" was removed from the "greater" buffs (well, not greater might and shield) at some point... during late C3 I think.

Was that just my imagination, or did they really get swapped around twice?

As a note, Mental Shield was never Mental Aegis. Every Prophet/SE knows what I mean :)

What? It was mental aegis before... Is there something I'm not picking up on?

Bishops for example had mental shield, but we did not have mental aegis.

They've changed names all over, greater battle heal use to be called greater quick heal if I remember right.

The point is, macros stoped at "/useskill Mental Aegis". You had to replace "Aegis" by "Shield" to make it work or use "/useshortcut X Y".

So, at somepoint within the L2 system Mental Shield was never named to Mental Aegis and rename it to Mental Shield was no change, it was a bugfix.

Oh okay. So boxed prophets and SEs would know that :p

Just kidding. I did use buff macros in the beginning, and noticed that it didn't accept "aegis".
