Necromancer or Warlock?

Hey guys,

I am having a tough choice deciding wether or not to change my human wizzard into a necromancer or a warclock.

I have a PP and a SE with me at all times so there is not worry about buffs and such.

I also want to be useful in PVP and PVE. Being able to get groups is not totally important since I haev my buffers. Since I have the PP and SE I would think that warlock would be an awesome solo character but the necromancer seems to be a tad better in PVP.

The way I see it is that they both get summons. Only is that necromancers don't use there summons (until they get the floating one) for fighting they keep them to the side for Transfer Pain. As the the warlock on the other hand needs his summon to do damage.

Anyway please let me know your comments/suggestions for the class choice and why. Thanks ^^
Necro only uses his servitors when in PvP.

reason being is cause they aren't usefull to him while in PvE...servitors suck up XP from you so you end up lvling slower.

while WK are much more confident in being able to tank a full room and require alot less management as the necro does.

Necro is very powerfull cause of BtM which lets them solo none stop for a good 20 minutes with out needing MP from the SE. till the end.

WK can solo none stop with or with out buffs, only when they resummon do they need to take a minute to get set up again.

My friend on kain plays the hero WK, and owns a whole cata room(full lage room) on her own with kai. has a out side 58+ PP. uses dual sls, and only hits the mobs to triger her para cubic.

WK is really good in olympiad...preatty much unbeatable. but in mas PvP a WK is much soght(SP??) after in archer groups cause of queens stackable crt rate and crt power buff.

so is Necro..they are really hard to beat in PvP/olympaid cause of TP and their summons.

if you go WK prepair for it to take a while to lvl!
The cursed man that the necro gets is actually a very good PvE summon as well. A friend did several levels in group with that summon. It has 80 base critrate, while real summoners' summons only have 40, and it has major patk comparable to archers with Drac bow, 3.1k+ patk with VR can 2-3 shot mobs in IT.
Thank's for the answers. Sadly I'm still having trouble making my choice :(. I would like to play a necro because they seem to be realy strong in PVP. As the warlock though seems to be able to do a good job as well in pvp considering he has very strong summons.

I have the weirdest feeling if I go Necro that since they are/were the FOTM then they might get a few nerfs at some point which would be a bummer. Also the warlock just had his servitor pvp damage nerfed. So again conflicting issues are giving me trouble.

Ok this will be last question and I will decide after this:

In open PVP (clan wars not sieges) basically ganking parties at raid bosses and stuff (Level 52+ and in top gear for level with all skills.):

Which class could potentionally get more pvp kills?

Which class would get pwned the most by the opposing force?

Which class would be most efficient at killing faster.
Necro were more FOTM in C4. They got "nerfed" in the sense that there is resist magics against dark now. Then again, WK's got his with a bigger nerf stick in other ways. Id say it depend son your style of play. Do you enjoy the nuking and raw damage, or do oyu prefer to heal, buff, and bea ton things with your melee while your pet hits stuff. They are 2 very different play style, so its basically how you want to paly to determine it.
Ahh... Well then... I do enjoy doing straight up raw damage. I played a sorcerer up to 55 and liked it. But I seem to prefer the playstyle of necromancers because they get more debuffs so they are very versatile.

I am going to be going necromancer.. from what I understand I will have a better chance WTHPwning ppl with him then with a warlock.
