Spoil tables changed drastically?

I dont know how many 60+ BH's there is out there, but i needed to get my hands on Animal Bone.

With the recent mass bannings, the price of Animal Bone is going up yet again and is sitting around 1100 - 1500 a pop on Kain so i decided to just go spoil it myself in Apostate / Devotion.

Now before in C4 i was getting anywhere between 1 - 15 bone from the mobs id spoil in these areas, now i dont know if its just me, but in C5 im getting a max of 4 bone per spoil in these same areas????????????

Dont tell me im unlucky, 30 mins i spent doing it and couldnt get over 4 bone.........lvl 61 4x HP mobs spoiling 4 animal bone..... 30 mins was long enough to give me a head ache.

Is it just me, or other people noticed same thing?
Haent spoiled bone since over a half year ago, wuld love to spoil mats but can't.
Spoil A helmet rec, trade for 1xxxx bones.

Abd who pray tell is going to HAVE those thousands of animal bones if they aren't spoiling anymore?

(And NO the manor isn't pumping enough bone into the system to make up for the lack.)
Ple is referring to the fact that she has outlevelled bone spoils, not to the fact that bone does not spoil anymore (which is untrue).

Drops aren't as easy as C2 anymore, but spoils aren't so bad if you go for the right spots.

Huh, sometimes i wonder MalineII.

In C4, as in last expasion in the catacombs / necros on lvl 61 mobs with 4x HP they were spoiling between 1 - 15 bone, now they're spoiling a max of 4. How did you get C2 drop rate / spoil rate out of that?
I'm not sure you're aware that the changes between C2 and C3 were much more drastic than anything that's happened in C5 - stacks of coarse bone powder in ToI, if I remember correctly.

Stacks of it.

4 bones a mob is worse, certainly, but it's not that bad - and despite constant protests that it doesn't bring in enough, the manor is a fair supplier of basemats. At 60 you're almost high enough for the compound seeds, no?
lol, as if a BH could have the mp to seed... we're allready out of mana with spoil.

and BTW, what you said is just = telling a BH to forget about spoil and use seeds ...
something is terribly wrong.
Yeah, as if seeds costed that much MP for the money returned. That has got to be the most stupid excuse not to seed in all of history.

Duo with a recharger (preferably an SE for obvious reasons) if you have trouble keeping your MP up.

BHs are not gatherers of base mats - not anymore, not since C2 came to a close. As you might know, I'm very much in favour of making all recipes and key mats spoil/accessible-through-long-quest only, but always with the spoil option.

Thats what I've ben doing I duno how long, I usualy only hunt in 1 area where thers just 1 mob who got something worthfull to spoil, the rest I seed.

So whats the point in BH's then?

Basically your saying its ok for BH's to be mat gathers upto 60, then its not ok and we should just start seeding to replace the millions of SP i just spent in upgrading my spoil level.

How many millions did you spend in seeds again?

So whats the point in BH's then?

he said it: the point of a BH is to seed... no wonder why.... since BH are far from the best seed farmers (kill speed ?)
but he's probably right... still i disagree, for me: BH are supposed to be mats gatherer with they spoil skill (at all levels), and if something is wrong with that, then it's worth beeing mentionned on the official forum as you did Wildrain.

Then we're 2 to think something is wrong here... i would have thought it would be more...

let's sums it ups:
-something is wrong with spoil changes: example:...
-others says: no worry ! just seed !

yeah ... -_-
"Dis moi de quoi tu as besoin, je te dirai comment t'en passer" (in english it could be something like this: "tell me what you need, i'll tell you how to do without it.") should be the signature of MalineII...
i got alot of bones in patriots from spoils. the aggro mobs in first rooms spoil 1-10 each time often. 1000-2000 bones per day there.
So only the mobs at the back were affected?

Is it anyone's fault that you didn't look into your class's high level play when you picked it but your own? BHs have received major boosts with the availability of key materials and recipes through spoils.

There is no point in lower-level BHs if higher-levels can do it all on their own.

I used to be for making base mats spoil-heavy, but things like 13k animal bones for one craft (or was it 17k for the peak?) make that unlikely.

just lol...
When i began to play (Open beta btw), i surely didn't know that high lvl mobs wouldn't spoil basic mats, neither NCSoft was going to implement Manor system, and so on.

Tell me if it's nice to spoil Metal Hardener (only used into C grade crafts) on mobs 80+... yeah you're right, i didn't see all passives nerfs when i choose to do a BH...

That's a problem every class that was picked in Prelude had. BDs didn't know they'd be buffers, summoners didn't realise they'd be unable to nuke (or suffer an experience penalty when using their levelling servitors), healers didn't know that one day DPS would be so large that people would get one-shotted, etc.

Don't get me wrong, I'd lvoe to see some boosts to dwarves - but it's jaw-dropping to see people treating a lack of mat spoils as game-breaking, when there is, in fact, the manor to provide for base mats, and key mats and recipes make up a fair chunk of high end items - and those are often spoilable.

ETA: By which I mean to say - there are so many issues with the dwarven classes (like the restriction to blunts for masteries, the craft shops/spoil share, the unability to spoil many key mats or recs that can be dropped or crafted for, the lack of preferential treatment on gear quests, etc.), I don't understand why you complain about the only leg up a starter bounty hunter has - base mats?
Following your logic you start spoiling at 61?
Following your own logic, I do what at 61? Didn't read that...

ETA: Quips aside though, yes, there is no point in being a low level spoiler apart from maybe scrolls and the odd recipe or keymat (where they are available) - well and a small boon over the manor.

But then, you don't start being a viable DD until high levels either, nor a viable buffer, healer, etc. - so what's the problem?
*Sigh* It's all cool talking with metaphors and such, but just answering a simple question can do some good from time to time.

From what I read out of your post a BH's career goes like this

1 > 61 seeding
61+ spoiling.

EDIT OK you edited your post and now it is clear enough.
Actually, it goes like this:

8->78, seeding.
10->78, spoiling, although not at a great profit until 61 - and of course always provided you either box or have a dedicated group, there's no point being a BH in a big party, which is one of the most stupid things NCSoft has done. But that's another topic. :p

Which is what I said above .. a few times.
the problem is this one : without bots you aren't enable to craft anything. manor system can't be used to craft an A or S weapon. i'm BH 76, do you think that's logical that i must buy all basics mats to craft something?

"Go seed" will you tell me. OK, tell me where i can solo mobs at my lvl, without use more potions than mats cost at giran, and without rest between 2 mobs...
If i seed in a group, there will no drop. I can't : share my spoil and stop all drops for my only own...
Some people lvl up a BH to higher lvls for the good stuff, and lvl up another to spoil the basics... Oo not my call but its doable and then you are self-sufficient.

Oh the humanity - having to group people you know and who trust you? Manoring ... together with others? Split the spoils after the hunt to the mutual benefit of all? What's all this crazy talk of not waiting for a game setting to be introduced to solve all your problems?
