Are tatoos unequippable? AND Energy Stones?

Have a few questions, cant find answers to.

Once a symbol/tatoo is created, is it possible to wear it and take it off like armor?

Some skills for a glad require 'Energy Stones'. Are they sold in private shops?

You can remove it for a fee and get half the dyes back. Energy stones are sold in grocery shops

You cant take tattoos on and off as you want. You can remove one by talking to the symbol maker, and you will get 5 dyes back.

really? so that means cant use those skills where in the olympiad? ofcourse i dont think that i'll ever make it to that but just curious.

Isn't it that symbols require ten dyes and a symbol maker to create, and cannot be unequipped (but can be permanently removed by the symbol maker for 5 *dyes* back) at will? You can have 2/3 of them depending on your level. They are reasonably pricey for lower levels but critical at higher ones.

Tattoos, unless I really am mistaken (...) are basically another type of armour. You can equip and unequip, enchant, etc, just like jewels. In fact, it is equipped to the part of the inventory right next to jewels.

2 Different things; symbols are to do with stats. Different tatoos give various benefits- +mp, +pdef, +resistance, etc.

Anyway, look at my post count, which is actually for once the answer to a question. This isn't the only place I read and follow, and those tattoos are one of the most infamous signs that someone's posting a fake picture off a private server (check l2guru for that I guess, or [censored] - it's gotten a little less frequent nowadays though).

Tattoo's have a slot--everyone at B-grade + learns this in-game.
I'm confused now......................
