The Firs thing i see when i log into new patch

Now first of all, isnt +4 on all Middle parts such as Maj Plate armor ment to be 100% success rate? yet the game tip says it isnt. Also not EVERY enchant has a 33% success rate, it is a common fact that it is easier to +4 an armor piece compared to going from +5 to +6.

Any comments? i mean im already losing appeal for this game and i log into a new patch to see this Ill-thoughtout game tip that is giving false info.
No it has always been safe to go to +3 and risky to go +4.

And if they tell you you have a 66% chance of success it must be true.
And also who told you the feature hasn't been changed yesterday to conform to those stats ?
ummm are u stupid?

its always been SAFE to +4 a Middle full item

and no its NOT 66% chance to go from +5 to +6
Yes, all full body armors are safe up to +4.

And yes, the success % is always the same. Be it from +3 -> +4 (on non full body armor) of from +6 -> +7. It's always 66%.
Please read it again..... hell even my English sucks but I get this part.

IT say, there is an 1/3 chance to fail, it's the same as 33,33% chance failure or 2/3 success or 66,66% chance to success.

And it have NEVER been safe to go to +4 on all items, the only items it's been safe to go to +4 and still are, are upper/lower piece armors, and they still are.

There have even been stastestics with over 100 test's and it shows that there is an 66,66% success rate:
The OP is talking about this:

The one-piece upper and lower body armor success probability was changed. Currently, all items can be enchanted safely only up to three times but for one-piece upper and lower body armors, it was changed so that they can be enchanted safely up to four times.

Although I've always thought "since C2" and "always" were two different things.
The picture says ALL items have a 33% fail rate going +4, can YOU not read, its not me with the problem lol.

I know its 100% for +4 on it... im simply pointing out NCSOFT has done this wrong
Replying to the wrong person?
That's the first time I've ever seen an official "this is the % chance of failure" note.

All items have a chance to fail going above +3 EXCEPT armor or robes that are one piece. They can go to +4 safely. So it's not "exactly" correct.
What part got cut off in the first word? It looks like it may have said "weapons."

ummm are u stupid?

No... it hasn't.

That feature came in C2 I believe...

...stupid.

What part got cut off in the first word? It looks like it may have said "weapons."

i think your are correct. looks like the word Weapons to me also.
Those information are written on enchant itself by the way. At least what + it is safe and that whole body armours can be enchanted to +4.

it says "items" its one of the tips in the loading screen
It SHOULD say "weapons" because armor enchant success rate is 50%, not 66%.
Usually bug reports are handled through the Support web site, but I did pass this one along to the QA team. As far as I know, one-piece armor is still safe up to +4, so it's just the loading screen tip that's misleading.

If you see any other weirdness in the loading screen tips, please send in a report through the web site (http://support.lineage2.com) to let us know. Thanks!
Mistryl: Also see my correction, armor do not have the same success rate as weapons, or at least until now they never have. Pre-C5, armor overenchanted at a 50% success rate while weapons overenchanted at a 66% rate.

Oh, and on the subject, what is a "fixed amount account" and why does one of the accounts need to be that if you're running 2 clients on the same machine? That tooltip was just... odd.
Yeah I was wondering about that one too.
I have made experiences with support so i figured it would be more useful to post it but also just to show the "stats" to other players as there has never been a offical statement on enchant rates, that and i also heard from quite a reliable that that the enchant rates on all weapons are different for example daggers enchant the best... and we all know its true cos of mage weapons encahnt rates, my god they are bad!

havent seen that one
can someone explain it to me
no, you are wrong, they must correct it, I ALWAYS blow things up +3 --> +4 so NCSoft must have it wrong... (j/k).

Sorry fella, your "reliable [source]" is wrong. i'm pretty sure that the people who wrote the tips are more likely to be right than your friend....

probably.
I believe the whole fixed amount thing is the client getting translated word to word from Korea to NA again without paying attention to the fact that despite common claims to the contrary, the game is slightly different over here.
I can guess that it is about payment for playing the game in internet cafes. Only 1 client per machine is covered by the cafe license, and you need your own "prepayed" account to play any extra boxed char.

(in Korea, of course)

I mentioned this in another thread, but the "fixed amount account" thing is from the Korean Lineage II service and doesn't apply here. We'll get those wonky tips corrected as soon as possible.
What does it mean, though? Im just curious.

It's probably something like: You pay for a fixed amount of time that you can use over the course of a month.

We'll get those wonky tips corrected as soon as possible.

I'm sorry......WONKY? OMG!

LMAO!

I love it! :D
