Was thinking about making a badedancer till i started looking for duel swords. Any way of getting duel swords for under like 5 mill? Even the cheapest would set me back 2 mill, and thats what i was hoping for lvl 20. by the time i was 40, was looking at crimson/elven swords, but that would cost a fortune.
Why do they cost so **** much, and how do you guys get that much gold to even dream about these things. I know they are drops, but where, off what?
Im still pretty new, my highest is only 40. Im having a lot of problems finding mobs to kill, nevermind mobs to kill for rare drops. Any maps that give locations of mobs?
The cheapest ones would be dual sabers, which would cost a lil over one mil (I think). They have 73 P.atk and 37 M.atk
They're not drops, you get 2 swords you want to combine, go to a towns blacksmith and he tells you what you need to make those swords into duals. Be it some extra money, stones of purity, or gemstones.
It's a little different with A grade I think. Feel free to correct any mistakes I made everyone.
Also, the most expensive duals for D grade would cost at most 2.4mil from a player. Those have 107 p.atk and 51 m.atk. These are often called "107's"
A small advice: If you are new, don't make too many new chars, it will be hard to equip them all. And a waste of time, unless your alt is a money maker (dwarf).
To the questions now. First of all, from 20-40 you don't need dual (not duel) swords, since you get no masteries from them. Stick to sword and shield. Second, you should do all the quests you can. Info on the quests can be found on http://lineage2.stratics.com. This will also solve you mob problem, since all quests are set for a certain range of levels and the mobs you need to kill for them are around that level. The adventurer guide book (can't remember which NPC sells it) has also many useful information on hunting grounds (level, location). If you combine these with manoring, then a good income can be obtained. Also spend less money. Don't teleport all the time. Walk, use scrolls of escape, don't spam soulshots and kill green mobs. That pretty much sums it up.
adventurer's guide book is no more. it has been smooshed together with your in-game map. :) so if you open your map and click on "world info", you can search through the hunting areas by either hunting zone or specific region.

I recently posted a little guide which I thought might have an interest for you in the players guide section. It concerns how I was able to afford c grade quipment. Its called
"How I went from 40k at lvl 35 to 30kk at lvl 40" and deals with how you can make money in those levels, even when being new to the game. Its written for dwarfs, but some of the tips can easily be used by all character-types
