Next event

Ok I personally think the current event is very lame (just my opion no flaming please) and now I'm wondering what's next. Is the current event meant to cover the halloween period therefore the next major event will be Christmas? Or might we get a surprise in between. And if it is Christmas (I didn't experience the last one but heard it was great) will it get totally nerfed and become a none event like the current one is?

I'm just a bit bored I guess and want a cool event to brighten everything up a bit - and before everyone points out the fact we have a new Chronicle, patches etc that's not where I'm going with this thread. I want an event that gives excitement and makes you think. My fave all year was the one with the clues where the bosses were.

I'm gonna take a shot in the dark and say that the next event will be pretty much Korea's holiday event from last year, with the Santa hats. I can't quite remember what else it consisted of, off the top of my head.

christmas trees.

Christmas trees that increased mana regen rates. I liked that. But now there are so many mana pots, too many, but I guess we can put the trees in the catas.

Last year's Christmas event was great fun :)

It consited in gathering the needed ingredients for making a large or a small christmas tree by hunting mobs and collecting the drops (same way is with the medals).

I must agree that this Haloween event isn't as much search and kill and rather a money sink. But still has a fun factor to it with the fireworks and people running around with their big heads and devil horns. I love the masks BTW ;) Way to go grafics!! Maybe get us some possibility to gather materials to build a slay with raindeers and ride around in it with clanies ^^

Maybe they could do some Search santa's helpers type event LOL Where the players have to find santa's helpers and kill it for a nice drop ;) (like with the rabbits at easet last time)?

Christmas is two months off. I would expect an event before that. My theory, that NCsoft is recycling lasts year's events in reverse order of their popularity, would mean a Dafstin-type event next. Note, I predicted this before we got the 'From Beyond' event, so I was wrong there.

I want an event, any event during which the forums are shut down during and for a week afterwards so I don't have to read all of the whining about how the event isn't _____ event.

Took me the entire event to get 1 large tree, for 20 measily minutes of regen, if I was near the tree. Most worthless event ever. But the trees did look extremely good.

I was excited because I am finaly on a non dial-up connection for the Dafstin event. And I would actually get to participate, and not be locked solid with lag from all the people, as was the case the past 2 years. But unfortunently I think I'm gonna get gipped again.

I agree on the last years X-mas event. I liked it too.
I would gather as many gifts as I could, make as many Trees as I could.

Then I'd go to Giran at the peak hour, so then I know that is has the most people logged in to the server and roaming Giran streets.

Then, I'd start setting up all them X-mas trees, right next to shops, on the stairs, all in Giran Castle Town. The extra stuff I'd just throw every which way I could...still in Giran town, by the way. ^^

So, all in all, I did like the X-mas event. Can't wait to do it all again =)

ps: Don't even hope that I'd do this on my main toon. You know, I don't wanna get KOS'd by the whole server ^^
