The “Summon Friend” skill, which enables a Summoner to summon party members, has been added. Elemental Summoners, Phantom Summoners, and Warlocks can acquire this skill at level 56. Spellbooks can be acquired as drops from monsters and at the Magic Stores of Rune Township and the Town of Goddard. These items are sold at a certain time at a certain rate.
The character summoned must have the Summoning Crystal. Summoning Crystals can be purchased at a town grocer.
You cannot summon party members to battle grounds, certain raid boss regions, and the Olympiad Stadium. You cannot summon party members who are engaged in combat or dead.
More party summoning classes will be added in a later update.
Basically you can target anyone in your party and summon that person to your location if they have an item called a "summoning crystal" on them. It's about 10-15 second cast depending on cast speed and all pure summoners have it. It has a fairly long cool down though.
Was in a party in TOI last night. I ended up on 10th floor after party dispersed. No one took me up on it but I opened up a party room offering to port people to 10th floor for 30K. Oh well, I though it was a neat idea.
Does that mean for this to work they have to be within targetting range?
You can select party members regardless of distance. Only 1 level of the skill too, would have been nice if they made a faster version at 72 or something.
