RAIDING GROUP - US TIME BASED

Hello. I am True, leader of HeartBreakers clan on Franz. When I decided to move to Franz from Lionna, it wasn't so I could regrind chars to 75+ nor bot them up. It was to seek the fun and challenges offered by coming to a new server. New friends, new enemies, and a fresh server not saturated with 2+ years of botting/bought adena.

Heartbreakers has decided to restructure our clan to form US time based raid parties. Now that our server is a bit more established we intend to create new chars specifically for raids. We will solo up with buffs to lvl 30. Once we have enough players at lvl 30 we will begin DAILY raids.

TIME 4pm PST, 7pm EST, midnight GMT

We will log in and raid 4 hours/day, 7 days/week. We will make 3 raid parties as follows:

Party 1
BD
SwS
Tank
Bishop
EE
SH
SH
SH
Necro

Party 2
BD
Prophet
WS
EE
SE
SH
SH
SH
Necro

Party 3
BD
OL
Sorc
SpS
EE
SE
SH
SH
SH

Our intentions are to lvl from 30 to 75+. We fully intend to participate in all aspects of L2 including festivals, sieges, epic boss raids, etc. Basically we are looking for a group of dedicated gamers who do not wish to bot up nor buy adena online and legitimately level their chars, but don't wish to solo up or xp in a traditional fashion. I can share from personal experience raiding is the best xp and most profitable means to level up in L2 IF it is done efficiently. After our groups learn the system we plan to kill 6 bosses/hour.

We will always play 4 hours/night. If all the bosses in our level range are dead we will make large AOE groups. This is something different and something FUN and CHALLENGING which is what we are looking for from L2. Our clan will 100% work together. We log on together, xp together, gear out together, all help each other as we can. You are welcome to have other mains in other clans as long as you play these chars as outlined in this thread.

REQUIREMENTS TO JOIN:
- Must have ventrilo and a working headset (no speaker feedback). We understand language barriers may be a concern but I think most players can understand basic commands such as "GO", "STOP", "SOE", etc.

- 100% of all drops will go to clan. 100% of all drops will be sold and the funds used to gear our members, one player at a time, in gear/tats best for our raids. I understand trust is a factor. What I can share is 100% of the drops will be accounted for on the website. 100% of gear distribution will be listed as well. I don't care to speak much about the past but I have personally held every epic jewel the game offers including Valakas necklace. I have distributed tens of billions in gear and would ask for your initial trust and you can make a determination on fairness for yourself. Bottom line, gear makes less difference for us since no one is solo-ing. We all xp together so if you are in bottom gear and the player next to you is in top gear, you both are in the same party so you both get the identical xp when the mob dies. We will work towards ultimately gearing all our chars in top A gear, acquiring a stockpile of supplies and then ultimately we will share any additional profits with our members.

- The key chars which there are only one of such as OL, Bishop, Tank will need to be players we have complete confidence in.

- Must be GAMERS. We are looking for people who play their toons, have a solid understanding of the game, love L2, are willing to accept clan direction and are not disruptive (being drunk is ok, getting into personal attacks with clan members is not).

If you are interested in participating please visit our website and post in the link below. We will begin raiding in aprroximately 7-10 days or sooner based on responses.

you should think about your setup nukers arent that good they was in c4
we did many raids on gustin at c4 with 3 nuker partys in c5 we cant beat the 6x raid bosses

how come gladiators didnt make the list?

well, no one needs an Gladi on RB :p

i've made a Rogue thinking that would be a nice to be a HE for Sieges and RB's :(

I'll offer a brief explanation. Raid bosses has been part of my L2 life ever since I was part of a group that farmed Orfen for top C staff back in ?prelude. Since then I have spent many days logging in with ally members and killing raid bosses for several hours at a time. I led groups that farmed bosses including the epic bosses like Baium, Lilith, Antharas and I led our most recent raid on Lionna for Valakas. While none of that means anything on Franz I am just suggesting I am very experienced at leading raid bosses, and adjusting to the changes offered in each chronicle.

With the above noted, it is my experience (including C5) that any melee class is not suited for raid bosses. Can they do it? Yes. I have seen a few farmer groups get together and kill high lvl raid bosses in C4 with pure melee teams. One of the challenges with melee at raid bosses is they get hit with every AOE attack from the boss. Sleep, poison, etc all land on them meanwhile range classes are at 900 range untouched.

I actually LOVE archers for raid bosses when they have draconic bow focus. At 76+ I prefer archer groups over mages. Until 76 mages>archers for raids. In a perfect world I would use 2 mage teams and 1 archer team. Such a setup creates logistic challenges when the natural player rotation occurs (ppl leaving clan, changing chars, not making it one day, etc). With a pure mage focus it is a lot easier to make adjustments. For example if we are short a BD he can hop in party1, dance con/mystic, then hop in the second party and do the same. That process doesn't work well when the BD dances for archers in one party and mages in another.

I am offering these responses to share my thoughts in creating this setup and am not looking for a debate here. If you have a differing opinion as to how raid boss groups should work I would suggest Franz has plenty of opportunity for you to create raid groups and go for it! :)

Same [censored], different server.

but TBH True, and all animosity aside, i have to give you a clap of the old hands for some of the [censored] ive seen you get together on Franz.

In all honesty, Good Luck to ya.

If interested, I've got a 31 Dark Wiz I'd help you guys with raids in. But my main is a 52 Paladin. Either way. If you would like me to join you True, gimmie a shout on here. or email at [email protected]

WTS INSTRUCTIONS ON HOW TO PROPERLY WIN FESTIVALS

bed pk if u fail

Beware of this guys raid "expertise" btw. Only raid leader on his former server to fail some of the easiest raids. His Valakas raid was copying the strat of the guy who masterminded NA's first successful Valakas raid, he just brought more brezzes than the first.

I wish you well!
