Don't forget taht your absolute score has no bearing, only your relative score. Also if you're looking ant science or math oriented college degrees they wont' even care about half the test.
err, not really. A bunch of college have a combined score minimum.

Of course, to not make the minimum score you kinda have to be half ******ed :/
well i already got a 28 on it.

English was perfect...jsut the science and graph reading messed me up lol.

We would've made a perfect team...8 years ago :p
28 is a decent score (well really depends on your goals i guess. For most colleges it would rock, for MIT or such maybe you should take it another time or 2 :P)
o.O

You can get into MIT on a 28. You aren't going to be finding much scholarship at that score though.
a lot of state unvi's will give you scholarships for that score.

Yeah, it has been so long since I looked into it I forgot their min score req lol.
Scholarships is what i was really taking the test for again.

30+ and your looking at some cash action
yah I got full tuition an board for my 31
MIT however doens't give merit based scholarships, because they're [censored]. average for the nation is 20 so a 28 is not bad at all, i don't recall what percentile you are looking at though, it's been a while since i had to take them. GRE's though, those are hell beasts.
94%

My sister just took the GRE's

Most fun she has had in her life she told me ( in a sarcastic voice )
The general isnt' bad, it's basically a bit harder ACT it's the subject tests that are bad.
MIT does have department based merit scholarship and merit scholarships for minorities. The fact is still that ten thousand dollars in financial aid is still only 20% of the cost. Dumping that much money into an undergrad science degree is a waste. Go through a state school (Purdue, OSU, etc) and then grad school at a big name with the money you save. You're paying for professors and research programs while undergrads get taught by TAs. Undergraduate Science and engineering programs are nationally evaluated and standardized anyways.

And the GREs...were a joke, all standardized testing is.
USD/PENN as my choice colleges and then somewhere else for grad school, who knows though.

What school did you go to sith?
University of Dayton

I grew up wanting to be a rocket scientist, and UD has an outstanding engineering program for it's size. It's also Catholic and has a partnership between it's research institute and Wright Patterson Air Force Base. I loved working there so much, I stayed for a Masters.

Oh and the chicks dude...I did it for the chicks >.>
Last standized test I took was the GRE, got 650/650 without studying and being away from math for about five years. :D

I agree the general is pretty easy. However a 650 puts you at about 60-70 percentile. Pretty impressive considering you're competing with the "top" science and engineering students in the country.
