New Player Looking for Some Suggestions

Hello everyone I'm extremely new to Lineage II and having trouble figuring out what race/class etc is good to play. Basically I want to be able to solo when I don't have time to group but be able to mesh well with a group when I have the time. Also I love PvP and I have to feel useful in it. So any class suggestions for me?

Summoner (warlock etc) warlocks are rare and at 56 they get a uber cat thats wanted in every archer party, goes very well in other parties too

yes warlock is a good choice, even tho they cost a lot to level (summons are expensive)
Archer are good at pvp, wanted in archer groups, and can solo very well. I think that would be the best choice for a new player if you wanna try out the game.

Seriously, try a few different characters out and see which playstyle you prefer. You can pretty much get the gist of how they are played just by going to L20 (Easy these days) with pretty much all the classes except the summoners.

If you have any burning desire to 'pvp' all the time, you may as well get an archer or nuker like the rest of the FoTM's...
