With the subclasses if i go from PS to destroyer what happens to my stats eg str dex etc do they

A/ stay the same
B/ swap to orc destroyer base stats
C/ goto Dark elf fighter base stats
D/ none of the above.
option B is what happens.. you become an orc in a DE body
Yep, but if I could just hyjack this thread for 2 minutes....

What happens to your tatoos from your main? Do you get 3 new open slots, or retain your old Tatoos?
Your main and sub are treated as two completely different characters, except that they share the same inventory and WH. Tatoos, stats, even your hotbars are different for each character.
Is the warehouse still screwed up so that if you have expanded warehouse on one toon those items "disappear" on the subclass?

yes!
THAT BLOWS! FIX THAT NCSOFT!

Note hp and mp are seperate. I wasted alot of time figuring what class would be best to regen mp for my Warsmith when i switched back. Unfortunatley when you switch back your mp will still low.
WarRaven,

Inside voice please, be polite now!

As it should be.
Sorry, but thats just such a hassle; makes the extra storage a pain to even deal with. I hope someone upstairs reads this and realizes its a problem they need to fix. Not just a gripe, but a problem.

Unfornunate, but yes, i suppose mp and hp should be different when you switch. Seems it would be like an ingame cheat, but you cant blame me for trying ^^

Sure I can. I can remember when it was "acceptable" and practical to PL toons with big boom. Lots of people did it. Never did myself even though it was "okay". It wasn't okay to me.
I hate cheating actually, ive never P lvled myself. I just find getting mp back quickly in town to be a clever perk from picking the right class. Not quite as deviant as P lvling. Evil maybe, but a far lesser evil than P lvling.
lesser Evils are still Evil
Well everthing is evil to a degree isnt it? Its the nature of the universe = selfishness.
Makes no difference to me how you play. Justify it to yourself if necessary.

I do, however, think to myself "Is this really how the developers intended for this to work?" If the answer is "no", I don't do it.

Some people cheat on their taxes. Others rob banks. Both are wrong. I don't cheat on my taxes and say "well at least I'm not robbing a bank."
so when you rob a bank do you say:"at least i'm not cheating on my taxes!"
:p
i threebox my next toon using WL and SE. then when i find out at level 52 that the toon sux, i start again.

How would you know if it sucks if you don't play it? :)
i take it to 52, then i play the toon.
Here's a question.
If you have an additonal 16 slots in your WH from PoCF's, and the slots are full, and you switch to your sub, do those items dissapear?
you bet!

subbing basically is a free level 40 alt with no gear, and that occupies the same toon as your main.

whats hard to understand? if you modify your main, youll need to mod your sub. besides, the level restrictions prevent a level 40 from having 16 extra wh slots anyway.

Yes. 16 of your warehouse items are "gone" until you switch back or get that passive on your sub.

My question was what happens to the items that are occupying that overflow...

They are inaccessible. Your warehouse will only show the first 100.
But they do not vanish...if that is your question. They are still there, but you wont be able to see them until you switch back to your main.
IIRC it just shows 112/100 if you have 100 spots on your sub's wh and 112 on your main. You can take items out, but you cant put them back in untill you switch to your main.
ok about the disapearing thing
if im on main and i wh id have 120/120 items in wh
then i change to sub id have 120/80
you guys arent saying that 40 items would disapear are you?

they do indeed. same as your c2 wh bug (before they put up wh alsot numbers) if you overfilled it, you didnt know. it all just vanished.

i still miss my 4000 mithril ores :(
[censored] hell
man i hope i havent lost anything (although prolly nothing important if i didnt notice)
my ws has like 30 more slots than my sub does thats a pretty easy mistake to make

do what i do: switch subs only while naked, then theres no confusion.
Quick question... Is it actually a 'sub'class, and do you get to use the abilities of both classes (main and sub) at the same time, at some point? Or is it basically like starting another character? Where, say, I'm a Destroyer, and subclass a SR. Would I ever be able to run around as Destroyer with the speed ability from SR...and use the SR bow skills as Destroyer?

Nope. You actually become the subclass in every way except looks.
