And, well, what can i say, this is an absolute must-have for any Lineage II fan ! No, i'll rephrase : this is an absolute must-have for any Lineage II player !
The box itself is awesome, with embossment on it (it now stands in front row on my shelves), you get a great-looking full-color A3 Aden Map (with my avatar friend on the other side :p), and the DVD itself contains tons of extras, from exclusive wallpapers to behind-the-scenes production movies, new concept art, etc...
Of course, you also got the game + the 5 Chronicles + a 15-day free extra playtime + a 14-day free trial code to invite a friend + free trial of City Of Heroes, City Of Villains, and Auto Assault !
And, you get the code to give Sayha's Mask to one of your characters !
Seriously, what more could we ask ???

Our local Fry's had a sale for this for only 20 dollars. Pretty good IMO, some of the items in this Epic Collection should of been included in the original box though. Namely the map.

I was hoping it would have a soundtrack as well, but hey, I'm content.

And yes, I loved having the mask waiting for me. It makes my nose look big, though...

Glad you're all excited but I would not say this is a "absolute must have". What would I do with a map but throw it away? What would I do with a box but stuff it under a bed? I couldn't care less about concept art and I can make my own L2 wallpapers in photoshop. None of the rest of the stuff is particularly interesting to me either. I am one person that will not be spending extra money on this! (Not saying you shouldn't, just pointing out that it's not "an absolute must have" for everyone!)

congrats to the OP for getting the epic box. i got mine after pre-ordering it. is mos def very nice looking, along with all the extras. got my mask yesterday too after the maintenance, just too bad that i cant switch the mask back and forth between my other toons.

Um... isn't the music in the game in OGM format? You can play that in Winamp or even burn it to CD :p

ok so I didn;t get the code for the mask maybe I overlooked it where can I find that at. Like was it in a paper like the 15 day prepaid code and the l2 subscritpion?

The code on the piece of paper adds both 30 days of game time and the in-game item to the game account. (The trial code should be separate.)

Yes, exactly, the Trial code is on a separate paper (i gave it to my cousin so we'll soon have a new L2 player hopefully :cool:)

Yes. PlayNC Account Management gives you the option to choose which game account and which player you want to get it. Take care, because once given, you can't change your mind later. :)

Don't get mad, I didn't say it wasn't the cheapest option for a new account. However, the OP said that it was "an absolute must have for any L2 player" and I was pointing out, that IMO, it is not even close to a "must have". Doesn't mean some people won't want it, just means it's not "an absolute must have".

(and it's funny how many PM i receive asking how i got this Epic Collection delivered here in Europe, Mistryl you should really tell your folks over at NCSoft to do something, they're losing tons of money right now !)

So far i understood the mask and the collection are sepparate codes... in that case im still without the mask cause i wanted the new account also, but to give the mask to an excisting character.. :S
