well, i havent played this game for a VERY, VEEEEEEEEERY long time indeed, and now i am back here hoping the game has improved beyond BUYADENALOLZ to something enjoyable...
....anyways, with all these new changes and what not, i quitted around the time when scions of destiny just came out, so could someone enlighten me on the new changes? oh, and im going to be on the newest server (franz)
so.....to the proper question, class help... :)....yes...i went there....anyways, if it would help to filter my choice, one thing i do know, that i have the hardy soul of a warrior, and was pretty much born into physical in-your-face-and-eating-your-HP combat (well, when i played my first MMO that was), and i know i was never good at suport, but i do wish to improve on that aspect....
....I also have a interest in end game PvP, has that changed? is it still the old massive castle sieges of old? if so...maybe i would like a class that would excell in that kind of enviroment, that, and im used to big, heavt armor.

First off...Welcome back. As far as the ebaying issue it has been somewhat improved as of late with a series of mass third-party program user bannings...however Franz may not be your best choice if you wish to avoid this type of player.

There have been sooo many changes since C3 I don't dare even try and list them all in one post...I'm sure you'll pick up on the major changes quickly enough tho.

On this note, it sounds like a Paladin would be perfect for you. It is an excellnt 'Tank" class with some support ability. One of the new improvements to this class includes a chance to root a target with Hate giving you a better crowd conrtol ability and a better PvP life. Also you get healing abilities which covers the support angle you mentioned to some extent.

PvP has changed to some extent as well with the introduction of CP potions, and more recently Elixers of Life/CP/Mana. The duration of a 1 vs 1 PvP has been extended by these and Mass PvP has become more manageable for a Melee type. If you want a class that can stand up to the massive damage out put of Archers and Mages again Paladin sounds like it would be good for you
