Blue is hero text. They are special (short bus special on some servers) and get their own channel.
haha
but the reason noone replied is maybe because you are in one of the newbie towns
those lvls go by so fast that there is no reason for anyone to be there except rerolls and true newbs so dont expect a reply
k first. dont panic
you will see a few ppl around but odds are they wont talk to you (ill let you figure it out)
you can pretty much expect not to see a single real person untill you get to dion
when you finally get to giran you'll be begging to see less ppl

talking in ! will show up for everyone in the area.
The only way to chat in blue text is if you're in a clan, or you're a hero.
If you're in a clan, you place a @ before your words, like this:
@this text will be dark blue
That text, however will only be seen by your other clan members.
To speak in hero talk, you have to put a % in front of it. For instance
%this text will be light blue (why NCSoft made me yet another blue color is beyond me)
Everyone on the server will see this, but you have to be a hero (level to 75, subclass to 75, then win in the olympiad)

Pretty much. When going to Dion.. Giran... MDT... Aden.. man.. you will wish you where the only one there. Chat goes by so fast you can't read anything... and it's so crowded you can barely walk around.
And Splatter... you where the first person to come to mind XD.
Back to the original question, How do I chat so the text is blue?
Get to lvl 75. Kill major RBs and stab Baium. Make sure you have about 50,000,000 adena so you can finish the quest. You get nifty weapon in the end.
After that... do the subclass quest and lvl up from lvl 40 to 75 again.... doing more quests and RBs along the way.
After all that, compete in the olympiad and win.
Once you do all this.. you will be able to do the global (blue) chat.
you can pretty much expect not to see a single real person untill you get to dion
I've never passed my homelands without meeting real people unless I left at around level 5 to go hide in a cave, nevermind Gludin (which is still active thanks to NoS). :p
