Herbs remove normal buffs?

Sorry for stupid question, but I found out this only today: since when herbs push out normal buffs and replace them by 2 minutes lasting herb effects? First I thought Shaman cancelled me when I saw WW2 and Focus 3 and speed attack potion removed, but nope ... it's those herbs. Was it reported as a bug, or is it feature?

Crawl, I'm not sure this is correct.

I only hunted for one buff round on an alt that was buffed in an area where new herbs dropped and I would SWEAR the buffs reappeared after the herb wore off.
It seemed to me that my Palus Knight had the icon for WW2, it went away while the herb worked, then he had WW2 icon back.
I could be very wrong but it seemed to me the herbs sort of 'bumped' the buff and then the buff came back on.
Again, I have been leveling main in EV and a bit in TOI and those new herbs didn't drop there.
The short time I took palus knight outside of Giran (to wyverns, bugbear warriors, medusas) it seemed the buffs weren't 'erased' but rather 'interrupted' only to return.

I dont know, I've noticed WW not coming back when the pots wear out as well. It didnt happen every time though. I dont know what to think.

The regular buff keeps running in the background it is just supressed. If it has time remaining it will come back after the herb is gone.

Your buff comes back when the herb expires.

Now there may be issues with overbuffing but I need to check that.

Seems like they might get bumped, if say you have 19 buffs and get 2 herbs. Even though they are supposed to just replace your current buff, they seem to take a buff slot then remove current buff. So if you are close ot max buffs, they can remove one or two of the earlier buffs in your bar.

If it's WW1, yeah, it would go away.

I've seen Wind Walk dissapear while on my lvl 12 char after a pot finished, and I still had the other SE buffs. Not sure about how to reproduce this, because my lvl 62 SWS has had abolutely no problem with the correct buffs coming back after all pots (and I go to 21 slots all the time).

I havnt had any probelm with the pots with my lowbie toons.
My normal buffs always came back after pot was done.
Then again I was never close to max buffs so I cant say if that has any affect.

Acumen 2 returns without problems after the herb wears off, so I doubt that that's it.

prolly overbuffing or the buffs wearing off while you have the herb
ive hunted multiple hours and havent lost 1 buff so far
