It's pretty easy to find empty rooms in the Necropolis but the mobs there stun me pretty regularly. I'm beginning to look forward to the War Frenzy skill.
Can anyone comment on how effective this skill is at preventing stuns? I don't have any tattoos. I generally use BW Heavy (46 CON) but also have Doom Heavy (50 CON). So far I haven't seen a huge difference in stun rates between the two types of armor.
What CON do you have with your setup? I'm hoping that with War Frenzy and Doom Heavy (50 CON) I won't get stunned every pull. I'd like to be able to pull 12 mobs for poling but I can only do 6 right now because of stuns. If I can pull 12 at a time I'll be able to use Rage every pull.
What do you think of adding +4 CON, -4 STR tattoo (this would be on top of the -3 STR from Doom)? If the stun rate is low enough I might be able to justify the -STR since I'll do bigger pulls and have Rage on all of the time. Doom Heavy and -4 STR with Rage on has higher Patk than BW Heavy, no tattoos, without Rage; although I would need outside heals to survive the pull since VR3 isn't enough to keep me healed. It's getting somewhat off-topic from the original post but I have yet to come up with a more flexible build than BW Heavy with no tattoos...
as far as I know, 30% resist stun at highest lv ( Resist shock is 50% ) in any event it dosn't add much, it's a complete useless skill except in 1v1 when you got a target to stun, or in really bad pulls in PVE, other then that it's waste of MP.

I'm not exactly sure but the way resist stun works is that say a 50% stun resist, means your stun resist increases by 50% of it's current value. So take me for example, i resist stunn maybe 20% of the time, neglecting CON effects i swap to majestic and now i shoudl resist 30% of the time. That's my understanding of how it works. So if you hae a big problem getting stunned as it is, an extra 30% or so isn't actually that big of a change.
ok for starters forget about +con and stun resist in pve
no matter what you do you will still get stunned regularly
in pvp those things rock (just ask any +con mage)
On another note: I just realized I haven't been using Lionheart self-buff. It says it "significantly increases resistance to paralysis, hold, sleep, shock, ...". I'll try it out next time I'm in-game. Can anyone comment on its effectiveness in reducing shocks in PvE?

Problem is...Lionheart isn't a "self-buff".
It's more along the lines of Ultimate Defense/Evasion. That is to say short duration, long recharge time.
If it was more like Rage in use/downtime, it would be halfway useful even if it wasn't 100%. But as it stands now, timing its use is more trouble than it's worth outside of a 1v1 arena/olympiad.
Oh... I thought it would work like Battle Roar. I think I've only activated Lionheart once and didn't pay attention to the cooldown.
When it is up does it improve shock resistance for mobs noticeably? If so then I might use it to pull bigger trains (right now it would be Lilim Knight Errant and Nephilim Swordsman) than I normally do and go back to the smaller trains while I wait for the cooldown. Hopefully it lasts longer than Rage since it sounds like it has such a long cooldown.
