why reset hero status?

why they reset hero status?
Look at that, posts deleted. Anyway like I said before some people got it and others didn't so I guess they reset it to straighten it out for all.
i see that in bartz they have heros...
Well, I honestly wish they'd do this on Sieghardt. Catalyst has been cheating for hero since C4 and with the new mid-C5 patch they can't do that any more.
I'd rather this happen than wait yet another month of Hero-Griefing.
Everyone has been "cheating" since it came out...
what are u guys talking about?
The so called cheating thing? No one fights to the death, so to speak to get hero, it's all point arranging and thrown fights and other political crap.
Well.

Baseclly it was.

Go into the fight.

See someoen you dont like?

Pull out your i-net plug.
Yeah, when hero fights go on this is all I hear about it

There were actually a few noblesses who never 'cheated' like that at the Olympiad. But of course they had no chance to get hero with the old system unless they were a class that beats most other classes (and most of these strong classes participated in the 'cheating' of course).
I always thought it was funny to see a group of heroes signing up on Talking Island or Orc Village (all from the same clan, naturally). :)
<- not cheating in oly
but u're bad and whiney :(
T.T ... but everyone <3 me anyway so I can be bad any whiney :P

Spoken exactly like someone who hasn't a clue what really goes on and instead relies on his allies or other rumor sources for information.

Everyone has been trying to make the Olympiad produce the most advantageous match-ups possible since the beginning. This includes ICA, mind you. You'll also notice that we in Catalyst still manage to produce quite a few heroes despite C5 changes that make arranging matches more difficult.

The bottom line is that anyone who points a finger at Catalyst for how we play or have played in the Olympiad needs to take a good look at our competition. Besides, our detractors will find some angle to work no matter the outcome of Olympiad: if we win many heroes, then we "cheated" (better than everyone else who was also trying to "cheat"), and if we don't, then we will have "sucked".

Personally I prefer being hated for cheating better than the other cheaters, but the "cheating" allegation is holding less and less water as the Olympiad is fine-tuned through patches.

I take it you didn't read the rest of my post. I said that with the new patch the cheating will be gone, and with a reset we'll actually have some good olympiads.
