I just started in L2 a couple days ago. I am currently well on my way to creating an Elven Wizard and most likely an Elemental Summoner in the future. Being level 10, I doubt anyone wants that sort of lowbie in their guild, but if you guys could give me any insights as to who is recruiting, and at what levels that would begin at, please let me know!
My MMO background includes, DAOC, COH, SWG, WOW, and RFO. Thanks, and I hope to get in a friendly guild in the near future! :)
Actually, with the new academy system, you give clans points if you join them level 16 and below.
Here's the current Major Clans:
Catalyst: Biggest alliance, Evil Empire, will lose alot of their hero's cause they can't cheat any longer.
ICA: Rather large alliance, has a few hero's and generally a good group of guys.
First: First alliance on the server ever. Excellent organization. Has even rolled a Hero gank group during a Raid.
Unity and Noblehouse: Up and coming alliances.
If you pick from these guys you will defiantly be involved in PvP.
If you want the overpowering feeling of the zerg, with absolutely no strategy join Catalyst. If you want PvP with strategy as the focus, join the others. If you want to be neutral, join any other random clan that yells for members in Giran.
Ah, I apparently need to update my terminology with guild and alliance :-) Thanks for the reply. Are there any representatives from any of these clans that are recruiters that cruise around this board?
Besides the big shots there are naturally the independend ones as well ^^ Like Wrath of the Just , Head of cerberus and Wolveneye, who each hold their own organisation. All of which are also worth your eye ;)

Catalyst is not the Biggest Alliance, we are the most powerful because of the amount of heros we have, but to call us an Evil Empire is just flat wrong! If you got to know the people in catalyst they are a bunch of really good guys, they are very orginized and try very hard to be the best!
Its like real life, We are the most powerful alliance on the server and thats why people hate us, USA is the most powerful country in the world, and people hate the USA. Thats how I look at it.
To be honest every alliance out there has a bunch of great people if you get to know them. Keep an open mind when choosing......

Though you do have quite a few good guys, you also have alot of idiots, just like every other alliance.
