I am new to Lineage II, just bought it yesterday. Is there an Auction House in the game or do you just sell all the items you find in a store?
There are two ways to sell your stuff...either to the npc store or setup your private store so other players can buy things from you.
As an advice...all the key materials and recipes for items (armor, weapons, accesories, etc) that you can buy in an npc store are worthless and those should go the the npc for sale.
Do not sell mats to the store since in higher lvl towns like dion or giran, players would buy those materials at a more convinient price that the npc store offers. Also about recipes for materials, dwarfs might want to buy those recipes...so keep em.
I other words, sell everything you can already get from an npc store.
How do you open up your own private store and how to search other peoples stores to buy stuff? I bought the game but it didn't come with a manual so I don't know how to do this?
Go to your's action panel, there will be 2 buttons open sell shop and open buyshop. Thne it's easy to see what to do.
TO search other players' shops you need to go to where there are shops (towns like Giran, Dion, Gludin and Gludio usualy has realy few shops, if any). THere you will see sitting people with different collor tags ower their heads, doubleclik on them, as on NPC and you see what they are selling.
You can also use /findprivatestore comand, it highlighets key works in shops' titles.
