Hey all, after a two year hiatus, I've decided to come back to L2. I was on Devianne for several months before trying out a couple other MMOs for a while. I had a human knight on the way to becoming a pally but after my experiences while I was away, I've decided to reroll and come back as a healer.
Anyway, just wanted to /wave at the server and say hi. The name is Padit, don't be afraid to say hello!
PS: I wouldn't mind checking out this new academy system too if any clans out there have some room. I left in C2 and its all new to me!
as a fighter class youll be gear dependent but as a healer you won't. what you WILL be dependent on tho, is a fighter.
what i reccommend before you get too high on your reroll is at least outfit your fighter with decent gear so that when you cant get a group on your healer, you can at least play around on your fighter.
other than that, what do you intend to be after level 40? healer still or buffer? and you havent specified any race or current class yet.
I had really just meant to say hi, the recruitment part was more of just an afterthought, but I was planning on staying a healer. I am a human mystic and plan to go cleric > bishop > cardinal.

might i reccommend avoiding a lot of the higher level clans on this server? those of level 6 or more are brutally warring everyday and it really will detract you from your grinding.

seems lately some players find their way back to Devianne and I am happy about this. So a bit more balance and not only xxUrtzuut767 or 8565Zuiuiuzit gamers out in the starter towns. Although its fun to see dwarfs dying for hours before the guards .. well at least for 10 minutes.
So greetings and to be honest I respect your way going to be a healer! I for myself are walking this path right now. Its a very needed profession and I am sure you will be welcome in any group and clan. Our academy is rather ful and we re happy to get a healer for our poor fighters who are wounded daily on the battlefield. Yes, none of us that are in clans that war everyday have every made it to a high level. And bishop is hands down the best healer in the game. Good choice, and good luck.
Yes, sorry if it wasn't clear :P I'm just sayin, you can still level with daily pvp. Yes, it might be a bit harder at times, but all in all, it makes the game more fun for some :)
