Hey there. I've decided to switch from AO to Lineage 2. Last time I played Lineage 2 it was on open beta so I have little or no idea of what I'm doing :D .. I've decided to make a dark elf and I've been thinking of making him into Phantom Ranger.. my question is as follows: 1. Which skills to take? For example should I take Power Shot at all? It seems there are better special attacks to come after lvl 20.. Or do they require Power Shot for me to pick them? I'd hate to screw up my first character as I did in AO :eek: 2. Should I start taking dagger skills as well as bow skills from the start? I think that's all.. Oh and any general pointers are more than welcome :) Thank's in advance.
if you can afford the SP, go for both dagger skills and ranged skills.
reason: bows cost MP to fire, and eventually you run out. once you do, switch to dagger and hunt like that until your mp regens.
well........ thats not entirely the case now that the MP potions and herbs came. if you want to be a die-hard bow-a-holic take only the bow skills. youll need powershot until level 40. after that your skills change.
fastest way for you to level to 20 tho isnt with a bow. comparatively it is easier with a dagger. just FYI.
another fine dark elf - yay. Well, most was said already - just a small hint. Most clans now run an academy for levels 16-40 and support their members. Maybe you want to join anacademy of a clan that fits your needs so youre not forced to solo all the time and get more tipps & tricks from elder gamers. You can visit also the "clan hall section" to throw in a request for clanning. Depending what you seek (PvP or PvE) there are nice clans to help.
