Orc Chief... does it ever drop?

I'm currently on the Orc Chief quest in the elven forest, and I'm going for the 1st Chief Torque (or something like that). I keep killing the Orc Chief just south of the big tree in the elven forest (the one with the 2 pet wolves)... And I keep killing the other orc chief to the south of the elven village as well (the one with the bow/arrow).

I have killed them each at LEAST 40 times... and no drop. Is there a particular chief i must look for? Or is it just a REALLY random drop?

There are 3 (or more ) diff chiefs , try examining the quest item/note in your inventory it may give some better directions/info.

If you find the right chief, you should get the quest item 100%.

There are actually eight separate chiefs. (http://lineage2.stratics.com/content/library/quests/index.php?id=105) You need to kill only 2 of them - but you have to find the right one.

I was under the impression that this quest had the location flags. If it does you can find them by opening up your quest menu (Alt-U) and clicking on the quest to "open it." Once you've done that you should get the annoying arrow over your head and/or little flags on the map to show you where to go.

(By the way, the /loc given on the stratics site is just a long/lat tool. Figure out which way is which by typing the command: /loc)

When you talked to the sentry, you should have received a note which will be in your inventory(quest items) , re-examine this note to get the info you need....including the exact name of the chief, and a guide to its location.

If should say something like "kill chief XXX, he is located at east side of the lake...."
